just right
fit snugly over my klein probes… perfect for reaching into small spaces. slightly flexible too without being too weak. perfect for those occasions when you need them.

Doesn’t fit fluke leads, nice probes if they did.

Not as pictured
The black insulation does not go all the way down the probe as shown in the picture, the un-insulated part is longer making it easier to short things if you slip. They also don’t fit well onto my probes, you kinda have to hold them at a specific angle to get proper continuity. Their price is nice since a set of fluke probes will run you $60 but I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone who is doing any kind of accurate or small probing.

Nice, well made and safe
Leads do make a difference. These are very good quality and have nice points for getting into small areas. The design has nice ridges preventing slipping down onto the points.

Work well enough, just be careful taking them off
I'm an HVAC technician and routinely need to break out the needle probes to check voltage via wire connections, which means swapping leads. Loved my Fieldpiece delux leads right up to the point where I lost one of the regular leads down a wall while in an attic. Had to get replacement leads since FP doesn't sell the rebuild by themselves. Got a basic set and then was stuck swapping the entire lead set every time I needed the needle leads... which was a huge pain and waste of time. Theme slip right on several types of "regular" leads (fluke, southwire,...). They hold well and their resistance is within an acceptable range (>.5)... after you clean them (some kind of protective coating?). They are super convenient... The negative: I grabbed the plastic cone and pulled it right off the needle along with the black needle insulator when I was taking it off. Those was after about a week or two of use. It went back together just fine, but now I pull them off by grabbing the tip. A little annoying, but hey two sets were $10! I can deal with that since they're otherwise so convenient.
