Amazing book!!!!

Perfect read for every human being!

My wife and I purchased this book for a 20-month marriage group we are participating in. From the very first devotional and each one thereafter (we have made it through five so far), we can heard God speaking directly to us and revealing to us wisdom and truths that seem so simple and yet are so profound. We know that God had us purchase this book and it has and continues to be life-changing for our marriage relationship. I would highly recommend this book to any couple who is looking to improve their marriage God's way through his word.

I did a lot of research to find a devotional that I thought would be a good fit for me and my husband. Settled on this one, and I'm so glad!Gary Thomas presents concise yet very thought-provoking material. We are about halfway through, and it has sparked many a great conversation for us already. Also, as a result, I often find myself doing a lot of personal reflection on the spouse I am and how I can continue to strive to improve.The length of each individual devotional is perfect, I'd say three pages on average. We tend to spend about 10 to 15 minutes (between reading and subsequent discussion) on one.

This book has really brought me and my husband closer together. Before our marriage we had a rocky past... we’ve been doing great but we have our moments. This book has helped us to see each other again. It’s supposed to be a weekly devotional but we have been reading it 4 nights a week during the work week. It’s so easy to understand and completely relatable. I just ordered one for my friend and her husband.Definitely worth it.

This Jesus centered devotional is the best on the market. We give this book with a gift to every wedding we are invited to. We highly recommend it for your marriage

My fiance and I ordered this book, very excited to start reading a devotional together before our big day. We LOVE this devotional!! It really makes you stop and think about the true meaning and purpose of marriage. Definitely has been an eye opener for us and has made us realize all of the ways so many people, including us, get so focused on the wrong things. If we remember to keep our focus on God and loving your spouse, or future spouse, the best we possibly can every day, then we will be truly happy. Received with excellent packaging beyond expectation. The content? Treasure for the couple's soul. Insightful, uplifting and spiritually persuasive.

This book was recommended by friends who had enjoyed the devotions and had appreciated the incentive to take weekly time together to talk and pray. The devotions gave us some quality time as a couple, and led to some good conversations. It was also good to know other people who had read the book, and to chat with them about some of the devotions (although some were personal and private enough to keep to ourselves!).Most of the chapters are only 2 or 3 pages, which is brief enough to not feel like a drag, but deep enough to provide good food for thought and discussion. We decided to leave the book down the side of the sofa to remind us to do the devotions each week. All was going well until we had friends over and someone spilled an entire cup of tea all over the book. We never finished the book, so I'm not sure about the second half. It may have had a dramatic finale. The butler probably did it.

We are really enjoying this companion to the Sacred Marriage book. The devotions are short and really give us something to think about. God's plan for our marriage is so much more and so much better than we had planned for ourselves. Gary Thomas has been able to zero in on the ideas and attitudes that were keeping us from experiencing God's very best for us. I highly recommend the book, Sacred MArriage, and the companion, Devotions for Sacred Marriage, to anyone wanting to have a marriage that is the very best it can be.

I bought this as a wedding gift. Book arrived in good condition. The couple were very thankful, and appreciative. Good gift for newlyweds, or seasoned married couples.
