This simple piece looks great as a subtle statement piece, having a perfect amount of a boho- rustic feel I am hoping to achieve in my sitting room.However.. there are no instructions and no hook on the back of the wall hanging, so I suppose I can try to Google how to use the funky little hook screw thingies that came with the wall hanging.The wall hanging is fairly lightweight, but since I’ll have it mounted high, it could possibly hurt younger children or pets if it somehow fell down.The yarn is sandwiched in between two planks of wood, of which both planks are screwed together.The wood is untreated, light in color. I may paint/texture it as I’m not certain I like that part of the art.Otherwise, if you’re looking to fill or complete a boho wall, this piece is quite complementary.***Update: I figured out by placing the included screws all in the middle so that the hook “mounts” in between the two wood pieces, helped provide a stable and secure way to mount the wall hanging where it hangs beautifully and I feel it’s well secured.

Fits perfectly on my wall and goes great with my decor/ascetic! It was super easy to hang don’t let the other reviews scare you. It comes with useless extra stuff you don’t need. We literally only used two anchors and two of the angled hooks out of all the stuff. We measured and drilled two holes, put in the anchors and inserted the hooks into the holes. The frame itself is two pieces of wood, we simply set the hooks in between the wood at the bottom and it holds great. It’s not going anywhere! Took less than 10 minutes if that.I removed a star though because the brown and black stings hang perfectly but the ivory colored rope hangs down way more then the other two colors for some reason?? I don’t mind it being slightly lower but mine is significantly lower than the one they show as the display picture on the listing. Looking at other reviews with photos also, mine appears to hang down way lower than others. It bothers me because it’s not symmetrical but it still is a beautiful piece and I always get compliments on it anytime anyone is over! I do plan of keeping it hung even with the flaw. I really like the raw wood finish but I do wish it was offered with stained colors as well (could be done though with diy)

The media could not be loaded.  This macrame is BEAUTIFUL!! It’s almost 5 feet! It came well packaged and just like the pictures! They even sent the screws and anchors necessary for hanging it on the wall. Even though it didn’t have any instructions I figured out a perfect way to hang it on the wall without showing the hardware too much (it feels secure and hopefully this is they way they planned for customers to hang). I’m just not sure what are the nails for. I attached a video showing what I did!I’m so happy how it turned out!

This is super unique and different. It's large and takes up space where you may want a large picture or mirror, but want something that's more of a statement piece.It's really just a board with yarn strung on it. Very simple. They give you nails to hang it. I'm not sure if they meant for your to hammer through the board. But we just put on top.The colors are neutral/cool with a dark brown and cream.This could look good behind a couch, on a fireplace, or above a bed. We plan to put it on our stairway.

I like this wall decor but if you were not a skilled individual it will be a pain in the butt to try and put it on your wall. The hooks are a real pain to get in evenly and she plays the wall hanging on top but I appreciate the previous reviewers who helped with how we were supposed to install it

I love the finished look. But the wood had green mold on it and the screws connecting the tapestry together were too short to hold the thick wood and yarn and had come undone. The “hanging hardware” was a joke. I wouldn’t trust it. I drilled a pilot hole thru the trim piece directly onto a stud. Then used a long screw of my own to affix it. It really is breathtaking. And from it’s hanging height you can’t see it’s flaws. I plan on staining the trim piece to hide the green mold and the screw heads.
