A bit too sexy for kids - and badly written.
Not obvious until I flicked through it that this book is self-published. Although the author's name sounds British, the copy reads like a poor translation to English, or English written by a non-native speaker.The first example 'how to draw' is of an overly sexy schoolgirl - inappropriate in a child's drawing book, especially since the author asks us to note her good figure (!). Totally inappropriate sexualisation in a book for kids. My 8/9yo loves drawing manga/anime but I don't want her taking in these messages as she does so.This book needed an editor/publishing house to improve production values and ensure it is appropriate for its intended audience. :(
