ATE 03.9901-6202.2 Type 200 Dot 4 Brake Fluid

I use this on the track and never had brake boiling or fade. I don't think it works quite as well in clutch system on my car as the brakes, but still great fluid and only slightly more expensive than the standard ATE fluid with a much lower boiling point.

Great fluid, was running my Megane 275 around silverstone for a full track day and no issues with fade.I originally had Motul RBF660 but as this ATE fluid is significantly cheaper wanted to see if this would do the job, and it does so using this going forward with regular changes.

Awesome stuff.I've used it on track several times and it just doesn't boil. It's a shame ATE were forced to get rid of the Super Blue stuff (thanks America) as it made it easier to do brake fluid changes, but this stuff is identical to it apart from the colour.

Brilliant product, used to use the SuperBlue before it was discontinued. Replaced brake fluid in my Suzuki. Will use for all my cars.

Used for TrackDays. No brake fade at all so I’m very happy with it

I used this brake fluid for bleeding the breaks on my car after a caliper change. It did exactly what I needed of it.

This is a great budget option before stepping up to a true race fluid like Motul RBF 600 or 660, because it has a very high dry boiling point, a good wet boiling point, and is much less expensive, at half the price of the race fluids. I have used regular off the shelf DOT 4 fluid, like Prestone for example, which works OK, but this stuff has higher boiling points and is the same price as the lower quality stuff.This ATE Typ 200 also comes sealed in a metal bottle, and the shelf life in my case is excellent, with a use before date of 2026, meaning it hasn't been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse for years and sold as old stock. For the price, and for those of us who don't need to spend $60/L (RBF 600) or $75/L (RBF 660) on race brake fluid, this is a great way to go. It's also nice that it comes in 1L bottles instead of 500ml like the more expensive race fluid. I know WHY they sell it in that format, but the fact is, I generally bleed the whole system rather than just a couple of calipers, so having a bottle that is enough capacity for the whole system is nice.
