I really wanted to like this Cricut writeable vinyl; if it functioned as expected it would do exactly what I need to create different labels. I also really like many of Cricut’s other products. Unfortunately I have found myself feeling increasingly frustrated with this one, and in fact have wasted the majority of the roll, which is especially frustrating given how pricey the stuff is. I swear I never had so many issues with the Cricut Joy Smart label.I purchased this vinyl to use with my new Cricut Maker. Unfortunately it has become jammed many times, rendering big portions of the label useless. This has happened both with and without use of a mat.Before even using the roll, I noticed that big sections of the vinyl had bubbles, rendering it useless. Annoyingly much of this wasn’t there at time of purchase, but seem to have developed over time, making it difficult to return/request a refund.And if you do find yourself getting to the finish line and creating a useable label (a rarity), when it’s stuck down, it bubbles. Hugely. Not quite the clean aesthetically pleasing look I was going for.I think I will try a non-branded writeable vinyl in the future; at least that way if it’s no better, I won’t feel quite as angry about the expense.

I have a Cricut Maker 3, and a new fine point blade in. This vinyl hitched up/rippled and got stuck in the machine. Disappointing as it’s not fit for purpose. #cheerscricut

The written surface remains tacky and smudges when damp
