Does the trick!
Pretty effective, not sure why there are such mixed results in these reviews but I get these every summer and see for yourself the sea of fruit fly corpses. If it's not working for you, note that it's very specificly for fruit flies and you do need to poke a hole in the centre to get started. These have been on my kitchen window for about a month because I ran out but if you are dilligent and clean up any potential egg locations you should be able to rid yourself of flies in a week or 2 using these traps.

Astoundingly useless - complete waste of money - utter fail - spectacular rip-off.
I’ve given them the best chance to prove me wrong, placing them amongst a host of persistent fruit flies with no other traps in competition. After 5 days not a single fly in a single trap. The flies might occasionally land on top of one of them, but don’t seem to be attracted to the traps at all and aren’t at all curious to venture into the funnels. I shook the red liquid out of one of the traps and replaced it with apple cider vinegar and a drop of lime juice. Within an hour it had caught 5 flies. So the truth is clear: their “secret attractant formula” (99% vinegar and 1% citric acid according to the package, so not very secret) is completely ineffective. My advice - save your money and make your own. Just Google ‘fruit fly traps’ for loads of instructions and videos. It is hard to make a fruit fly trap that fails so spectacularly, but these folks have managed it.

Works Well!
"I’d seen DIY recipes for getting rid of fruit flies, but I wanted a quicker solution! I ended up buying two products from Amazon, and they worked wonders. Both products had a similar scent, which seemed to attract the flies, and after a few days of strategic placement around the kitchen, they were all gone. It took a little time, but it was worth it – no more flies! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy, effective solution."

These definitely work
These pots are small and can be put in any space where the flies are. I have had mine in place for a week and I no longer have fruit flies flying around. I would definitely recommend these.

Doesn't work :/
Despite a lot of negative reviews, I was sure this product would work because of the ingredients and concept. I've seen fruit flies swarm a dab of honey on a plate for example.I've now had the product for about 48 hours and the fruit flies just fly around it like it's not even there and continue to infest my cockroach vivarium. Despite me placing four of these things around my pet tank. I can't say this is a worthwhile product to buy and I feel like I've wasted money tbh. :( Prob would have been more effective to just put some honey on a bottle with a paper cone in the neck so they can't fly back out.Don't buy this people.

Come here fruit flies...
It's a shame Covid didn't kill fruit flies, we were inundated with them this "summer", these traps seemed pricey but my goodness they work well. Only needed one. Didn't think it was working until I held it up to the light and saw the body count! Sorry little flies bit I did warn you.
