Great starter kit but the longevity is in question.
Super impressed when hive arrived. Had it about 2 seasons and the Florida sun seems to be taking it's toll. Was coated in bees wax which I'm sure weathered away by now. Might need to paint it now.

Box joints don't fit together
Box joints don't fit together. Laid out all the pieces and the connections are to big and will not slide together. Beautiful wood but frustrating that this is not going together like the video. The video makes it look easy. Maybe I got a defective hive box.

instructions are Terrible! Dove tails sizes are so of they don't fit together. Once the box was convinced they leave a GAP and is not stable. Perhaps I received a defective box?Someone please help
