I have to say I was sceptic on if this grounding rod would work...and YES it does. I got this so I can hang outside and visit and still use my mat. I am telling you, for me I think its way better than using the ground outlet in my house. I am six months post surgery from a double mastectomy, it has left my skin hypersensitive, so using my mat has made a huge difference, but didn't want to always go in..this is awesome, I feel its a better connection to mother earth, and I got to visit and keep my discomfort down. I will have to tell everyone I know about this rod...company even contacted me by email to see if I was satisfied.. That says a lot about a good company. So please, give them a try..I hope you're as happy with it as I am..

It works perfect when you don't have grounded outlets in your house. I bought 2 of them to use in 2 different places.

Works as advertised

I have been "grounding for years by just going out and sitting in a metal chair and bare feet. Got to thinking about the metal chair so I thought I'd up my game and do this wire and rod into my bedroom window to my bed. Saw the guy who created Earthing on youtube and how he started. He used metal ductape which is aluminum. Not hard to find and not to expensive... My only problem was i put it out and forgot to tell my lawn guy to watch out for it.... hence Its gone. My fault so I have to rr-do it. Tell your lawn guy and maybe put a stone or brick by it.

I plugged the rod directly to the earth and ran the cord into my ungrounded house

As other reviews mentioned, the rod was missing from the package. I only received a wire. Heed the warning.

Mostly okay but the ground rod was not copper and it was very very small/short. I attached it to my existing ground rod and all is well.
