What is included in the delivery?

In addition to the motion sensor, 2x wall plugs, 2x matching screws and sensor cover plates for adjusting the detection area are supplied.

The sensor switches on for no recognisable reason. What could be the reason for this?

Gusts of wind can cause short-term temperature fluctuations, which can lead to incorrect switching. Other triggers can also be exhaust air openings in the house wall or animals in the detection area.

Why does the motion detector not achieve the specified maximum range?

For technical reasons, PIR sensors react best in a tangential direction of movement (parallel to the sensor). If the direction of movement is radial (towards the sensor), the detection range is reduced.

Is the sensor waterproof?

The motion sensor is protected against splash water (IP54) and can therefore be installed outdoors without any problems.

How high can I mount the motion detector?

The mounting height can be between 1.8 and 3 metres. A height of 2 m would be ideal for the sensor. If mounted higher, the maximum possible detection range is reduced.
