Perfect drumsticks ever
These drumsticks work brilliantly for what I need.I might have to order some more so that I have a lifetimes supply if for some reason Pro Mark stop producing these wonderful sticks..

Best sticks I've used
I've played with standard Vic Firth 5As, SD9s and Vic Firth 8Ds (which are great but seem to vary in density). These were recommended by a drummer friend who'd been using them for months. He was right. I'm used to a lighter stick, but it was a problem playing with volume and I wasn't getting the most out of my cymbals. The difference with these Shira Kashi 5A Oak sticks was immediate. They've got weight, but are superbly balanced. The density of the wood creates such a precise bounce - my playing is markedly tighter and faster. I've got ten pairs so far and will be stocking up from time to time in case they stop making 'em!

Good sticks, first impression.
Only had one rehearsal since buying these and so far so good. Never had drum sticks made of this material before so Iβll update in due course.

Been using these for a while now
These sticks seem to just last forever! I've had the same pair for about 5 months now and as a rock drummer, I don't go light. most sticks last me 2 days to 3 weeks. Light and durable (but slightly unavoidably heavy due to the density.) Sounds wonderful tonally. My only complaint would be that the packaging is excessively large and is a waste of resources. Would recommend to rock drummers!

Great β¦ until tip broke
Bought these for my 12yo son at end of May. He liked them, good weight and balance for him. By end of July one of the plastic tips cracked. He doesnβt abuse his sticks so feel pretty disappointed they have such a short lifespan.

Long lasting, feel good in my hands. This is now my go-to stick.
These are my new favourite sticks. They have a nice weight to them that is very nicely balanced and the density of the wood means that nasty vibrations are not transmitted back in to your hands as happens with some cheaper, lightweight, sticks. They last fairly well compared to other sticks that I have used. The wood tends to compress instead of chip so you end up with dents rather than splintering and peeling sticks, which I vastly prefer. Apart from making less mess around your kit they also keep their weight and balance all the way up to the point that they break, unlike sticks that peel. When you play loud these sticks feel sturdy and when you groove and play complex patterns the balance makes you feel in control and on top of the rhythm.

Fantastic Value for Fantastic Sticks.
I would highly recommend these drum sticks to any drummer regardless of skill or playing genre because they are so strong, durable, light and comfortable to use.I was given a pair many years back which were already worn and battered, however to my surprise they lasted over 2 years in my possession which is fantastic compared to my 2 day Vic Firth sticks! Once they eventually broke I immediately bought another pair, and after long uses there are hardly any marks or chipping into the stick!Furthermore if you are looking for a strong, highly durable, light, 5A drum stick these won't let you down! Also you will save a lot of money because you won't need to regularly buy new sticks.Happy Drumming!
