No. It does not work for Android Auto.

Depending on the receiver itself, this Bluetooth device will probably work. I use it for essentially the same thing.

Yes. But you still need to plug it into an audio jack in order to hear any sound. The USB portion is only power/receiver, it is not "wireless"
