Put the salt in the pipe. Place open end of pipe into mouth, breath in through mouth and out through nose....simple as that. ( shake pipe occassionaly to loosen crystals ).

Q: Is this worth using if you already have prescribed salbutamol inhalers?

My son found when he used this he needed his salbutamol less than normal. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this help clear congestion and blocked ears?

It will help clear congestion on your chest and in your throat but I'm not sure about blocked ears. I can't praise this device enough it's well worth the money.

Q: What do I expect when inhaling

A very light taste of salt and almost instant relief from breathing problems. I recently suffered a bad spell of flu and as an asthmatic I experienced severe breathing problems. I found that the inhaler worked faster than my asthma inhaler and when alternating with the salt inhaler I didn't have to use the asthma inhaler as much. It also made me feel better as the salt inhaler works on a natural basis.
