Bought for my 3 year old and she loved it! It’s not a ton of sand, but it is plenty to get you started. With young ones, it’s going to get mixed up and turn into an ugly brownish color. So, in the future, I think I would avoid the rainbows and just get 1-2 colors instead.

Lots of fun but take it outside or you'll be vacuuming up sand all the time. Kids love it.

This sand was fun initially just because of all the colors but immediately I could tell it was not very good quality. With any of our other kinetic sand, you can grab a piece and use it to pick up all the other little bits since they’ll easily attach to it, but this stuff doesn’t stick very well and sort of just falls apart between ur fingers. But the worst part is that once mixed together with the other, high quality sand, it completely ruined all of it., which of course I didn’t notice until the kids had mixed it in with all of the sand we owned previously. It was all like sand-slush. Kinetic sand is not cheap after a while of collecting all the tools/ colors etc, and I ended up having to throw it ALL away. None of it was salvageable whatsoever, and believe me I sat there trying to pick it apart for a good amount of time before giving up! I very much regret this purchase.

My daughter loves this brand of sand and doesn't play any other, besides the sand at the beach.
