ToyCenter10 Pack of Coloured Threading Laces

Bought to make up new strings to hold the parkrun finish tokens as the ones we were using had started to turn mouldy as the lamination had broken and the card and laces had got wet. The laces had also broken and it could be difficult to thread the tokens sometimes. By using plastic cards with these threading laces, we no longer have to worry about anything going mouldy! Very pleased with this purchase. I just wrote the numbers of the strings 1-50. 51-100 etc on the card and covered the writing in sticky back plastic. Punched a hole in the corner and then added the new threading lace. Very pleased with how they have turned out. They are a bit thinner than I thought they would be but they thread through the finish tokens with ease.

Nice to help hand and eye control

These laces appear to be quite strong and the colours get the attention of my grandson who has just turned one. These were bought to use with cotton reels for threading, to make necklaces and crowns etc. Could have done with them being a little bit thicker to make it easier for a one year old to handle but as the recommended age is 3+ then no reason to complain.

As the picture showed 5 different coloured laces, I expected a pack of 10 to contain 2 of each! But no - 3 yellow, 3 blue, 3 red, 1 green, no orange! Quite disappointed - no use for the craft project I'm working on, even though the laces are good quality.

These colourful laces are slim, strong and appear to be colour-fast. Useful for many different crafting projects. Difficult to rate as a 'toy' (for some reason they come up in the toy category) therefore grading probably appears mediocre, however as a crafting item these are great.

Ordered for spares to go with large sorting buttons for when laces go missing

These are not SHOE laces they are THREADING laces. The review I have read seem to not have understood this. As a toy for threading they are great.

The thread is very loose (not knitted tightly) so the thread has already gone limp, which is harder for younger children, working with children over the years I have seen better products than this - considering they are for threading purposes. They will do, but I don't have any hopes on them lasting!
