Does not come close to charging on my S8+ as fast as the Samsung or many other fast chargers. Doesn't even register as fast charging on my phone. Yes I tried both ports, same results, same speeds, same time to full charge. Even a gas station one I bought registers as fast charging. This is not a recommended product, do not buy.

Description said fast charging but when plugged into phone it doesn't say fast charging like the charger that comes with phone when it's plugged in.

The fast charging on my Samsung S8 is fine. I use this during trips where I am using Waze for navigation. However, there is a problem with this interfering with my TPMS. I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra and when I have the adapter plugged into the car (even if not actually charging my phone), the TPMS warning light flashes several times then stays on. I did not have this problem with my old phone charger, but it couldn't keep up with the energy consumption of the newer phone. And no, it is definitely not the phone. I have used the phone many times over the almost year of ownership without this issue.Edit (raised review from 2 to 4 stars): My car has two power outlets. One next to the center console on the passenger side. Using the adapter in this outlet causes the TPMS issue. There is one inside a door in the center console. This one works without issue.

I had just purchased the new Samsung Galaxy S 8 and was not informed the charging equipment would all be different from my Samsung Galaxy 7 so I needed something for my car and my house, they always give you such short chords, but I went straight to Amazon thinking I would be looking all night for exactly what I wanted. To my surprise Amazon had this package as buyer's choice I believe so I looked real fast and it had the car charger I needed with the long chord in case my grandson needed it for his tablet on a road trip yet perfect for my needs as well. The inside chord works great and is very long. I can use it while it's charging and still put it up high when I'm not so the grandkids can't grab it. I like the blue light that light that light's up on the car charger. 😉😉

When I purchased it I put in our car info and it said it could not guarantee that it would work in our car.Just got it and plugged into the car. Turned the car on then plugged the phone in. At first it wouldn't work but I took it out and moved the cord to the other receptacle and tried it again and voila!! It works my phone was charging.It came in a nice ziploc bag so if I needed to return it, it would be easy.

This charger is excellent' The 6' cord is a bit long for my use. However, if you have passengers in the back seat the six foot cord can reach them depending on the size of your car. If you have a car with more than one power socket you're covered. Nice item and the blue light signifying power is available is a nice touch.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. Both charging slots on the recharger do recharge my phone at the same rate as my "Fast Charging Rate" when using my Samsung charger indoors. I swapped cables just to check and all at the Fast Charging rate even though it doesn't say that on the phone. Love the blue edge to find it easily in the dark. 6 ft cable great so my car seat grandson won't drain the battery when we go in the car and plays games on it. Really like the dual charging slots so 2 can use the charger at the same time.

The explanation for this product makes it sound like it's a "fast charger". The second picture for it says high speed charging right on it. This is not a fast charger. It's a normal phone charger that I can get at any Dollar Store. Returning and getting my money back.
