Drum Sticks 7A, Solid American Hickory Drumsticks/Beater Sticks, Wood Tips

A bit heavier would have been better, so I taped them up... ok now.

These sticks arrived promptly and were as described. They seem to be a good quality wood stick pair well matched and finished. They are a bit heavier than I would normally use, but I generally go for a 5a and the ones I ordered are 5b so that is expected. I will certainly order another pair as they are a good alternative to vic firth and a bargain price. The only thing I will say that is annoying and this is true of all my recent drum stick orders from all brands and that is that amazon sends these in massive boxes. I find it very annoying. If they used a small box it could fit through a letterbox, I can't fathom why you would package something like this in a box ten times the size, which then means you have to be at home to accept the order. I think amazon should review how they package these types of things.

For practice playing these are right up there, I'm using 5A and they are the same shape as my Shaw C+ Stick, just a little shorter and thinner. Will update the durability once I have used them.

After a couple of months use these sticks are as good as new, probably because they're made of hickory. Pricewise they are half what I've paid previously. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought for my son who usually buys VicFirth drum sticks.He says these are very good and is happy with them.Two pairs for the price of one VF to so I’m happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

Not bad for practising.Don't stand up to the rigours of gigging though. But well worth the money
