The Xpro is a huge improvement over the X1T. It’s hard to even believe they were made for the same purpose by the same company and are only one generation apart. Every single area the X1T fell short, the Xpro delivers on. There’s a huge, beautifully backlit screen which shows tons of info for up to 5 channels at once or zoomed in to see each channel individually. This screen means the settings are much easier to figure out and the menus are far, far easier to navigate. Of course, you can quickly turn on HSS and rear curtain sync from here and set each group in a different mode if you’d like. To help with that, there are a LOT of buttons and dials on here, all clearly labeled (unlike the X1T), letting you choose each group with the push of a button then quickly change its settings. The dial feels smooth and high quality as does everything else with the build quality. Speaking of build quality, it’s quite a different form factor from the X1T. This is a bit taller so you can attach and detach from your camera more easily (the X1T was a bit close to the body and sometimes hard to get a good grip to unscrew it when it was on there tight). Although it appears much larger, it’s actually surprisingly compact, which is nice. Add to all that a few cool extras like the new TCM function and ability to choose if you’re working at closer or longer distances to avoid misfires with flashes close to the trigger, you get one of the best wireless triggers on the market. With an already really strong range of speedlights, strobes and hybrids like the AD200, the Xpro has made me even more confident to completely jump over to their system.

Good high quality

Have used this trigger for my Canon M50 for a couple weeks. Operates well, and the interface is an improvement. The only item I don't like, is the protective flap never stays closed for the usb port, which is ironic as the Quality Check sticker was placed right next to it. Update Dec 2019... After Godox reached out to me, they sent me a total of 3 more replacements, with two more having the same issue, and finally the third was good. Now the USB cover stays closed as it should. I greatly appreciate Godox making sure I have a trigger that works as intended, but somewhat disappointed in how many attempts it took to get. All in all, things are now resolved, and Godox went farther than any other company to make sure it was resolved. A++ for customer service.

It works great. No issues there and easy to decipher the controls. On CANON mirrorless cameras the contact points for the hotshoe don't align well. If you just slide it into the shoe the contacts will not line up. you have to pull it back outward slightly until you feel it click before it will function. Same with the GODOX flash I use this with. Not a huge issue but if bumped just right (or wrong) it will fail to function until you realign it.

I ordered this as opposed to the touchscreen controller. I like the more manual controls on the controller. It works perfectly for my two Godox TT 685ii’s. You can easily use the together as with equal settings or individual settings. No issues with a Canon R6 mark ii.

The Godox X system is a dream to use, all of their products work flawlessly together, even with multiple brands of camera firing the same flashes. The only 2 minor improvements I'd like on a future model are: - a QR mount to hotshoe .- i.e. the lever on Canon flashes rather than the screw-knob - modelling light brightness control (currently it can only do on/off, even if the studio flashes have multiple modelling light brightnesses to choose from) Overall it's amazing, I've used many previous flash controllers from multiple manufacturers and this is the best ... I hope they release an Olympus/Panasonic version soon as I'm using the older model on my other camera and it's not as easy to use as the new Xpro model (although still 100% reliable)

I just bought the godex flash and so I can use it off Camera. I now have the trigger. I find it very easy to use, especially when using different channel.

This trigger works seamlessly with my Godox AD200Pro and Canon 6D It allows full control of all aspects of my lighting. I love being able to initially shoot in ttl to get flash exposure in the ball park, then press 1 button and I'm in manual to alliow for fine tuning Large display of just 1 channel info is possible gives a clear view of just whats important to me. I'd like to have more control over the time limit with the led panel display light and possibly more space between buttons. Bur i suspect thst will become easier with more use over time. This is a great addition to my equipment
