Used this before it does work at healing wounds and stays on for days

gels up like it is supposed too and stops seepage a lot

Thought there would be some sort of adhesive on the dressing

I cannot use adhesive dressings so this was a lifesaver for me. I applied a little manuka honey to keep it attached to the wound and within two days it is showing signs of healing. Would highly recommend.

Hi all.I use this product every three day after dialysis because of the amount of bleeding after the needles are removed from my vein. Now don't get me wrong here, eventually just using pressure and Sterile Wound Dressings does the same job, the difference is time. The time it takes just using sterile dressings can be rather slow but using the Alginate Dressing in conjunction with the dressing means the bleeding stops all that much faster as it clots the blood faster. I am so impressed with this product that I buy my own as my hospital only allow its use if necessary to help keep costs down. As it turns out this is cheaper than what my hospital pays, crazy? At the very least, if you have a first Aid kit in your home or car/van, I highly recommend anyone to buy this product.
