Why did I buy this product?I wanted to build a bespoke corner unit with a lift up lid for storage space and doubling up for additional seating around my dining table. I priced up the job and the timber that I would need to carry out this project added up to a very hefty price indeed, let alone the hassle, arguments & expertise needed in building such a unit.I then looked at a blanket box in my bedroom, after all they are a similar thing! Scrolling through my Amazon app I then stumbled across these beauties. On measuring up and using a total of three units, this would just about do the job. The dimensions fitted amazingly into my plan. So I clicked away and ordered the three units.On arrival within 24 hours of ordering, I unpacked the first one and easily built it. I would recommend two people to put the heavy top on as the hinges obviously need alignment.The quality for the price is very good indeed. The lid is very sturdy, I weigh in over 200lb and no issue at all. The lid closing unit is very well made and a great safety addition. All screws and pre drilled holes line up with ease and the precision cut pieces of the item are of a decent standard.So I’ve cracked it and saved a fortune, wood is so expensive nowadays.They look brilliant and are now placed where I planned and I am so happy with my purchase. You won’t be disappointed in this item, especially for the price.All I need now are cushions (wife’s department) 😉

The description is completely true. Looks amazing, absolutely how I expected. Sturdy and with massive capacity. Easy to assemble.

I like the dark bown burnt charcoal finish , it is well put together flat pack , and has 4 screws at either end , clearly shows where to place the opening mechanism, and where to place hinges .

Good quality, easy to put together and looks good. Using it as a toy box for my grandchildren.

I don't know how these guys do it, but for my tastes all their stuff is lovely and so easy to put together.Being a vinyl addict, I have a lot of cleaning stuff for it.I had a cheap £10 black Ikea table for this cleaning machine. I cannot tell you how much i hated it!I didn't find anything suitable for ages, then i saw this! It's perfect. I can store all of the cleaning accessories inside and out of the way, while having the RCM (record cleaning machine) on top.It took (a novice) about 20mins all in all to build. Everything was supplied, everything was in perfect condition and the instructions were so easy to follow.Definitely recommend

I Bought a pine chest from Argos, absolute rubbish 6 faults in all, obviously returned it. So found this one on amazon. what a difference beautiful finish went together perfectly, strong and looks quality, would go nice in any surrounding. A word for putting together, screw the hinges on the lid first using the marked holes, then screw to the lid to the chest, you will need a hand to hold in place while you screw together, brilliant! Very good price too.

Although it was slightly smaller than I expected, this chest fit a lot of toys in and is sturdy and good value for money

Diese Truhe sieht wirklich gut und hochwertig aus.Der Versand war fix und ich hatte mich sofort daran gemacht, sie aufzubauen (Ich liebe es, Möbel zusammen zu bauen :) ).Hat alles super geklappt und ich bin die ganze Zeit mit dem Gedanken beschäftigt, noch eine weitere zu kaufen.Es passt ordentlich was rein (und da gibt es noch eine ganze Menge, die verstaut werden will) und macht sich in dem Raum sehr schön.Ich kann dieses Möbelstück mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
