Product description ------------------- Tricolour Quinoa by Hatton Hill . ally grown, harvested and dried in Bolivia and packed in the UK. Quinoa is a naturally gluten-free seed used as a whole grain – like rice or couscous – in cooking. All three varieties in our tricolour mix – red, white and black – are native to South America and were a ste food of the ancient Incas. Quinoa is hugely popular among vegetarians and vegans but in recent years has burst into the mainstream as a superfood for all. PURE, PREMIUM PRODUCT: Hatton Hill ’s tricolour quinoa is grown and harvested in the highlands of Bolivia, one of the areas in which it was first cultivated at least 5,000 years ago. Red quinoa has a nutty flavour whose slight bitterness is more robust than that of the white quinoa in this mix and contrasts with the earthier, slightly sweeter taste of the black quinoa. USES: Hatton Hill ’s tricolour quinoa can be used in almost any dish in which you can use rice or couscous, and then some.
