Absolute rubbish. I was VERY dissapointed. You think you are gonna get a nice perfect metal line, instead of the problems you can get with batons.But in reality, you MUST only tile 1 row of tiles, and even then you MUST make sure they have completely set, before you dare to try and put any more on. Because if you go back even slightly too early, and the tiles aren't COMPLETELY DRIED OUT AND SET, don't fool yourself into thinking this will will in any way make up for that - it will not. It will simply buckle and the stands will slide across the floor and you rtiles will slip down the wall.I have never struggled this much with wooden batons, and i am going straight back to wooden batons, now.I did read one other review form some guy who said they buckled and "popped out", but it was only one, so i decided not to listen - DURR !Its not just that it cant take weight, it needs a PERECT floor, otherwise it slips and moves about (even then, it might). And with tiling, you can't have anythin gthat moves and slips about. They could make a REALLY good design out of this, if they used aluminium brackets and let them be fixed to the batons, so they couldnt possibly slip.Or, if they just put soem screw holes in it, i coul duse it as a very good baton, compared to wood - i think i may just drill come holes in this, because it would be brilliant compared to wood, if i just screwed it to the wall - all these contraptions, just make it NOT WORK.So yeah, if youve got a few quicd spare and want to try it, go ahead - but you'll be dissapointed, if, like me, you were hoping this would be the answer to crooked or slipping batons - it aint - its WORSE !

Basically these comprise extruded aluminium box sections with height adjustable attachments. Good idea but IMO let down by a few flaws in implementation (some issues specific to my particular project):1) The size of the battens meant they could not be used due to obstructions in the area I was going to be tiling in. If the height and width was reduced then they could be more easily employed.2) The thickness of the support that goes under the tiles means that a minimum thickness of adhesive must be used to avoid the tile batten stopping the tile bonding to the wall or not being flat to the wall. Reducing the thickness of this piece by 50% would have helped avoid this.3) Supplied 6 legs, but only 4 of the orange supports. Pretty pointless having the extra legs, unless I have missed the point of what they are supposed to be used for.4) There is obviously a minimum height below which you cannot use these battens, that being the height of the batten. However making a smaller batten would mitigate this issue.5) Having foam feet might help with grip but making them of compressible foam material (instead of rubber) did not meet my requirement for accuracy. I don't want something that will compress vertically by even 0.5 mm under a heavy tile loading.5) Changing the height of these battens involves a lot of screwing. A quick release for large adjustments would help.Furthermore the instructions seemed to be outdated, instead of having the orange plastic supports it had metal supports with extra screws (which still seem to be available on other versions of this product). If a product is going to be updated or changed then the instructions should also be updated to match.

After reading some of the reviews it turned out better than expected. I didn't have any problems with it pulling away from the wall. The greatest difficulty was getting the whole thing aligned when using three support battens, hence only 4 stars. But really so much better than the wooden battens that I had intended to use that were warped. But once I finally got them level it all went well.Just one hint, don't forget to lower the legs and push the batten down before trying to remove it.

Innovative answer to the batten problem. Worked well for me and tiles are nice and straight. You need to block or fix the feet with screws otherwise they tend to slip. Worthwhile if you are doing a fair few tiles and want to get the best results.

First time ever used these. Blinking great, made light work of leveling the first row.

I think the Tile tracker is excellent, it's quicker, easier than wooden battens, overall great product.

I used for the first time today and have to say was very happy , I was putting up 600 x 300 tiles and didn't slip at all much better than battern

I had high hopes for this, it ticked all the boxes and I asked in advance if all 3 sections can be used at once as one continuous peice and the answer was yes!

very good tool to set your tile levels, used a lazer level straight line through out.

Who ever thought of this should be thanked by every DIY PERSON

yes great tool after you have set up, should have bought the longer one though
