Q: Can this tool cut aluminum tubing?

I have never tried cutting metal with this cutter, but I do know they offer a separate blade you can install that is designed to cut metal. If all you want to do is cut metal tubing get the TC3Q model which specifically states it is for metal.

Q: Can this tool cut 8" schedule 80 pink pipe?

This tool is 8" long and is for cutting 2" pipe. If you wish to cut 8" plastic pipe you will need the Reed Tool TC8Q.

Q: The two pictures show different products. Which one is it?

If you click on the size squares you can pic which cutters you are buying it tells you the price so you need to know what size pipe your cutting. The picture shows the biggest then the next picture the smallest size.

Q: I'm trying to cutting a 4 inch pvc pipe with 12 inch and it barely even cutting thru anything? is there a way I can test the blade?

I was cutting CPVC pipe with Reed tools but have a range of them. May I suggest using the next size down. Also check how much walk flex there is, softer material will give fair to poor results when attempting to cut them giving the impression that the blade may be dulled.
