Very effective, but you need to figure out the dosage
My dog is usually fairly calm, but he has some nervousness traveling in the car, and, like most pets, is scared of fireworks. So I got these with the intent of relaxing him during car rides and other stressful situations. One afternoon, soon after they Calming Chews arrived, my dog was pacing around the house and acting stressed. It was likely something outside that his senses picked up that I was unaware of. I tried calming him down with the usual activities, but he continued to act more and more stressed. I remembered the bottle of Calming Chews on the shelf, and quickly looked at the dosing recommendation. 1 per day for a 50 lb dog. He is almost 50 lbs, so I though 1 treat would be right.I gave him one whole treat. He ate this treat without a problem. Within 5 minutes he was noticeably much calmer. At 10 minutes, he was acting "very calm", not his normal self. At about 15 minutes, he walked into his kennel, laid down, and went to sleep for 3 hours. When he woke up, he was back to his normal self, no harm done.Clearly this Calming Chew is effective. But I am going to try 1/4 of a treat for a car ride. Hopefully that will calm him but not knock him out.

dog loves it as a treat but not as effective for calming.
A friend of mine has trouble with her dog in which her dog jumps and goes nuts inside the car while driving. He is a high energy dog and she has received a prescription for getting the dog calm during driving due to the obvious dangerous behavior. In the attempt to wean off the dog from the prescription medicine, I asked her to try this product. Feedback given is that the dog loves eating these treats but does very little to nothing to stop with his dangerous behavior of jumping around in the car. She said it does work if the dog is already tired out from playing but at the times needed, it is not strong enough. So, my thoughts of this product is neutral.

My dog didn’t like them
My dog eats almost anything, so I was very surprised that she wouldn’t eat these. They smell like a beef bullion cube and are fairly soft. The only way I could get her to eat one was to crumble it up and put it in something else. As for its effectiveness in calming her down, I don’t see much difference. I have a different brand with slightly different ingredients that worked ok but I ran out so I thought I’d try these. I really wanted to like these too because we are about to have a party next weekend and I need her to be chill. I haven’t given up yet, it could just be that they are something new and she’s just not used to it yet. Will update after the party and she’s had more chances to try them.

Fair
After giving these to my three dogs in hopes it would calm them down some on rainy days when they cant play outside, I would say it is fair. They took a nap about 30 minutes and they were wide open again.

Great for dog anxiety
I got these for one of my dogs that wakes up at night sometimes panting with anxiety. Since giving him these before bed, he seems much calmer, so I am very grateful. My only reservation is that he doesn't seem to love the taste. He will eventually eat them, but for a dog that enthusiastically gobbles most treats, his response to these is tepid.

I cut it into pieces and mixed it with dog food to make nutritional supplements
I don't know why dogs don't like it very much. I cut it into pieces and mixed it with dog food to make nutritional supplements. I hope my dog will be healthier.

Dog won’t eat them
This is the second type of tried to get my mom’s dog to eat. She’s not impressed. I’m not sure if it’s the smell or what.

Doggy Edible CBD!
So my doggy has bad separation anxiety whenever I go out or even leave the room. I'm training her to accept the fact that sometimes I won't be there but ill always come back soon, but while that's work in progress, there are still times that I won't be home, so I heard about these doggy hemp edibles and decided to give it a try.I used a pretty common store brand prior to this and another brand that I also purchased on Amazon. All in all this is the best for my dog! She loves the beef flavor, which wasn't present in the last 2 I got, instead Potato Product was used. This has Natural Beef flavor! The pieces are small enough for most dogs, some of the smaller breeds might need it cut in half. Dosing is done by the weight of your dog, the first time I gave my pup one, I gave her a half dose and seemed to be fine! This can be used for separation anxiety, during fireworks or thunderstorms, car trips, vet visits, grooming, or when you have a lot of people over. Basically anytime your doggy gets stressed out!So there's a lot of ways this can be useful, so its always worth having laying around. The shelf life seems to be about 2 years, give or take so they'll last you! When I give this CBD to my doggy, it usually starts working within a half hour! The container comes sealed with 90 pieces, which is the same amount of the other brands I got and this is also Made In The USA.I hope this review is helpful to all you other dog parents!
