Strong and easy to use
This tool does the job it’s made for! It’s strong and certainly lightens the load on digging and bending! Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant for fencing
I was putting in a new fence and had to work in very tight spaces and there was no way I could have got the required depth for the posts without this. It worked a treat

Good value for money
Does a good job in heavy clay ground. Difficult to remove clay from thread, managed to bend the shaft whilst knocking out clay.

Great device for creating holes
This is a very easy to use device. Simple screw it into the soil, and lift out excess soil to create a perfect hole. There are two small snags - one of which you will encouter whatever method you use. Obviously, it cannot cut through stones. So if if encouters a stone that's half in hole, but majority held by the surrounding soil, it won't go deeper; time for the hand trowel to remove the ofending stone, (or half house bricks in my case!)The other "problem" is that you need an 18" clearance to turn the top handle, so you cannot cut holes close to walls, ie at the end of a fence run.Other than that, it's a great device with a very strong

Amazing for boring out holes
The tool was amazing. It was that good even my wife was impressed. She said she has never seen me bore out a hole with as much ease as the Silverline post auger allows you to do.The handle is a bit firm but if you wear gloves this will compensate. The tool does occasionally get stuck in a hole. When this happened I had to really wriggle and wrestle with the tool to extract it from the hole but a quick clean of the tool and removal of the sticky gunk/mud and the tool is good to go again!this is one of the best tools I've ever purchased, well recommended!

Only good for light soil
Unfortunately this product has a very small weld at the leading edge, hence the first stone you may encounter will cause the weld to pull apart and the cutting edge wrap incorrectly to the wrong side of the pole.A simple fixing plate or longer weld would make this product more far more robust and hence useful for many more ground types.puzzlingly the weld at the top part of the pole is much longer and more robust which is not essential. Thus if you have soil with any clay or stones this product will have little use.

Great tool
Used it to create drainage holes in the garden, to do this with a spade would have been hard however using this it took no time at all. Well made and sturdy. Glad I brought it.

Pretty good!
Bought this despite mixed reviews. Yes it's cheap and cheerful but it does the job. We have clay soil and it cut through it really well. You have to take it easy frequently pulling it up so as not to drill it into the ground too far. When you hit a stone it's best to stop and pull it out manually rather than risk damaging the auger. I don't think it would work very well in rock hard ground or soft loamy soil. Overall it worked a treat and cut neat holes. Also to make life easier we used fast setting post concrete- get it from a DIY shop.

Producto resistente

Merci.
