Great compact case that fit all of my needs. Real leather that feels amazing to the touch and plenty of space for all my pens. Love it!!

The item I received is precisely as pictured. The leather has a worn or slightly rustic appearance, not a smooth artificial look as some reviewers have described. It's a little stiff at first but soon limbers up. The only drawback for me is the length. It doesn't accommodate a standard pencil. But I got it for ink pen sketching, do ok.

Quality feel. Looks great and fits my sketch pencils nicely. Dark interior hides any smudges from the points. Just rigid enough that I haven't lost a sharpened point.

Great pen case but disappointed with the texture of the leather, it does not match with want is shown on the photo.

Brings pencils together in one convenient location. It has a nice pocket to store the leads.

So, are you ready to throw around some of your expensive fountain pens? Anything on the left side won't stay since the mesh isn't tall enough to fit a clip. And the right side is so tight that even a fairly narrow Lamy 2000 can only fit with a physical shove. Anything with a slightly larger barrel will scratch each other and requires a lot of force. It won't close when filled as well as bowed from the tightness of the pens together. It is leather [I cut it just because I was curious and not worth it to return] but really cheap leather. The other side is actually kind of soft, almost like they put the wrong side out.

Nice pencil case. The pocket is really meant to hold extra led, and it does NOT fit your standard 3.5x 5 notebook—like the moleskine pocket. You have to go down to a 3 x 5 notebook. I found some that were just notepads that worked. I didn’t try a spiral top, so I’m not sure if that would be too bulky. A taller notebook or paper would work, just not wider.The zipper and leather seem to be durable and quite sturdy. The pencil loops are what you’d expect. I didn’t try different sizes, but I’m using them for mechanical pencils. I have fountain pens, and I’d guess this case would work great for those too.

Allows me to keep my fountain pens in a sturdy carrier along with an extra ink cartridge where ever I go.
