Okay so I have two carpet cleaning machines. And have tried countless sprays over the years. This one has become my favourite. Forget machines just use this. You spray it on and scrub with a carpet brush. Then wipe with a damp cloth. When the carpet dries it is amazing results. I have had some real stubborn stains on a beige carpet. This was the only really effective cleaner. You can apply again and again for better results too if needed. This makes cleaning the carpet much easier. I would reach for this spray before my vax carpet cleaning machine. That is how good it is

Excellent experience using this. Sprayed it lightly over a walk through carpet are which had signs of dirt compared to other carpet areas. Left as per instruction 2 mins, then lightly agitated the area with a large scrubbing brush, after placing a clean cloth over, I could see the stain lift immediately. After a few hours drying the dirt was gone. No foaming or other residue left unlike some other products. It says it contains a stain guard property, but I'm unable to confirm this right now obviously. No distinct scent, but smells clean close up. Very impressed, like every other HG product I've tried so far.

I used to clean textile storage boxes. I rubbed then for 20 minutes with a brush until they looked more or less acceptable (in the photo).I hoped for easier cleaning but I have nothing to compare to.

Prompted to write a review as I was impressed with this product. This is a genuine review, you can check my other reviews to see I don't always write favourable reviews if I'm not happy with a product. Anyway this surprised me with how good it was. I was worried about using a spray spot cleaner on upholstery due to poor results with other brands that left tide marks round the edges or needed a lot of rubbing in affecting the fabric texture. This one you just spray on, leave a few secs (well I did anyway) and wipe off. It took two quick applications to remove the grime on the arms of an armchair where hands had been for years. No rubbing needed, just wiped off. I can honestly say I was amazed and the armchair arms look perfect now. I do think HG products are good, and this one is great.

The HG Stain Remover is a lifesaver for carpets and upholstery! Its spot spray cleaner tackles stains, dirt, and marks with ease. Game changer really, it saved the day numerous of times stans on the sofa, chairs stairs etc. doing the job perfectly even after some time. Recommending it.

Does the job
I have a fabric headboard which was getting a little bit stained. It wasn’t one particular stain but rather a few marks here and there - the way furniture gets over time.To be honest I was a bit sceptical about this. I tried it on an inconspicuous area first for colour and it was fine. The first time I tried it I sprayed product to sponge and then applied. The stains faded a little but didn’t disappear. Second time I applied product liberally direct to headboard and then scrubbed with sponge. This time it worked a treat.The scent is quite strong so do keep windows open.

Warning h319- causes serious eye irritation. Euh208- contains methylisothiazolinone. May produce an allergic reaction. P101- if medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. P102- keep out of reach of children. P264- wash hands thoroughly after handling. P305+p351+p338- if in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Attention: HG 'spot & stain spray cleaner' is only suitable for cloth upholstery. In all cases test an inconspicuous area for the colourfastness of the carpet or upholstery before use by wiping a cloth dampened with HG 'spot & stain spray cleaner' on the surface to be cleaned. Use a brush on synthetic carpets. Biodegradable detergents. Keep in a frostfree area. 1,19 percent of the mixture consists of component(s) of unknown toxicity.
