A solid PC but some questionable components
I’ve tried to write what I consider a fair review so hopefully this will be of some use to anyone considering buying this PC.DeliveryThe PC arrived 3 working days after order from Amazon.Initial setupThe PC worked with no problems out of the box (and still works without problem at time of writing, just over one month from delivery). It comes with a power cable but no HDMI or Display Port cable. This isn’t something that will be a problem for most people because most monitors will come with a cable, just something to be aware of.If you have additional drives you want to add to the PC you will need to ensure that you buy or have the necessary SATA cables. You are good for power, but no SATA cables were included in the box.Wifi is provided via a USB dongle, I had hoped it would have been integrated in the motherboard but all worked fine once plugged in.PerformanceAlthough this PC has a 12th generation I5 paired with an RTX 3070 GPU, I don’t think this can be considered a 4k gaming PC, more of a very good gaming PC for QHD (2560 X 1440). You can probably play most modern games at 4k but there will be sacrifices. A recent game, Atomic Heart, seems to run fairly well at 60fps in 4k at high settings with DLSS turned on. Halo Infinite has no DLSS settings, but this can be played at around 50fps. If however you want to play Cyberpunk 2077, without massive graphical compromises I can’t see this as a game you would play in 4k. If you play around with the settings, Ray Tracing at medium settings is possible with DLSS enabled in QHD but you will need to turn some settings down. This will then give you 40-50fps. If you are happy to turn Ray Tracing off, it looks like a solid 60fps frame rate will be possible (plus you could turn some other settings back up).The case includes 4 fans which allow the speed to be manually adjusted (they are not connected to any heat sensors). Under load the PC can get quite noisy (not sure if it is the CPU or GPU fans making most of the noise, suspect it is the CPU fan) and having the 4 fans on fall blast will reduce the CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 5 degrees, depending on the speed setting. If you are just using the PC for Office etc, you can turn the 4 fans to low or even off with no impact to temperature.Components/value for moneyOn Vibox’s website it states “At Vibox, we provide top-quality Custom Gaming PCs”. This statement I find questionable due to some of the components used and I will explain why.Starting with the motherboard, although a well-known brand (Gigabyte), it is quite basic, limiting upgrade potential. It does not support DDR5 and the maximum memory speed is 3200mhz. The board has only one NVMe slot (which is in use) and a PCI express 1 slot which I can’t see so assume access is blocked by the GPU.The PSU is a 700w Kolink which retails for around £45 and I doubt this would appear on any recommendation lists when purchasing or building a PC.The GPU is made by Biostar and not easy to find in the UK. I’m not sure there are any resellers of this card in the UK but as far as I can see, it costs between £380-£400. When I tested this with Passmark’s Performance Test, it scores above the average for an RTX 3070 so other than some concerns over the brand, the performance seems good. The memory and NVMe are both made by TEAMGROUP, another company I am not familiar with and found it very difficult to find them for pricing. As far as I can see, the NVMe 1TB drive costs around £50. Although it is much faster than an SSD, performance is quite poor compared to other manufacturer’s NVMe drives (a check on Passmark shows its read and write speeds are probably around 50% of the speed you would expect to see in an average NVMe drive which is quite disappointing). As far as I can see, total component costs are probably somewhere between £820 and £850 leaving Vibox around £275 to cover build, postage and warranty costs. Not tried the warranty yet (and hopefully never will need to) but parts are covered for 2 years with life time labour cover which seems very reasonable.Taking everything I’ve written into account, I would rate this PC as 3 out of 5 stars. In order to score this a 4 or a 5 I would have liked to have seen a motherboard with better upgrade options, an NVMe drive that was as good as an average drive and a PSU that I could have more confidence in.

Trust this company. Trust this rig.
Trusting an online purchase of this magnitude these days is a risky venture. I have looked a for a new rig for a while. This is my first venture into a gaming rig, though primarily for work. Having read round and looking at the reviews for this company I took the plunge.I have not been disappointed. 48 hrs from order to arrive and Emailed at every step.Selected my free game through the provided Email in the parcel, and gave me a free game whilst waiting for the free game!It arrived fairly well packaged at 7.20 am on the Friday morning as unfortunately they didn't do a Saturday delivery, something I wouldn't have minded paying a bit extra for.Easily put together and awaited the usual Windows 12 hr downloads and updates.I've left it a couple of weeks to try the rig out before reviewing. It has worked seamlessly, boots up quickly, graphics look slick, no lags or glitches, (but windows!), I've not pushed it to any limit yet though, but for what I'm using it for I doubt it would be much further than the occasional gaming and works based programs.Key board and mouse are taking some getting used to though. But from my history of consoles and laptops, not really a surprise.I will recommend this company and rig to anyone.

A++ product at a bargain price.
The media could not be loaded. Utterly fantastic product and highly recommended.First of all, delivery time was excellent and delivered two days after ordering it.The PC on a technical side is great value for money and has taken on every game thrown at it with a minimum of 60FPS at 1080p all while being almost utterly silent and loading lightning fast with the SSD.From a visual standpoint? Big but surprisingly compact, wonderful design and the LEDs and infinity mirror on the front make for a great eye catching look. The glass casing also shows off the tidy interior design and the admittedly cool looking LED fan.The additional items in the bundle are definitely a worthwhile addition and warrant going with the bundle option. The monitor is slightly bare bones in terms of features, but hey, it's a monitor, games look great on it and that's more than enough. The keyboard is great quality with a wonderful Mechanical feel, though personal preference may come into play as the audible "clicks" from keystrokes can be loud. Probably not the best in a shared room, but definitely a pleasure to use if you're able to.The mouse included feels great, again, nothing overly fancy, but 6 buttons one of which is a dedicated button for sensitivity are perfect for gaming and browsing. The headset is comfortable with great sound and a quality microphone. The mousemat is....well, it's a mousemat. It sits there.... You know what you're gettingOh, also there's a free game too which is really just a cherry on the top.. mind you I've yet to redeem it,but you can't really go wrong with any of them.Overall though, it's an incredible product. From a tech and design perspective, the PC itself is more than worth the asking price, with the additions included in the bundle making an already great value for money product an absolute steal.5 stars all around.
