This is fundamentally a very good three bar electric fire on a pole. It gives excellent radiant heat and is easily adjusted from 1 to 3 bars or switched off simply by pulling a cord.There are some minor problems to do with the assembly. It comes without any instructions. As the assembly is comparatively simple that may not be a big disadvantage however there are some things that have to be worked out when one should simply have been told.The lower of the three column sections is attached simply by undoing the screws at the top of the base and screwing the column on. However to be sure I wasted a few minutes looking to see if there was any other means of attachment.The screws supplied are soft and of poor quality. One of mine was missing and the others were slightly too short. I substituted brass 5 x 3 screws which gave a far better fix especially as it is almost certain the fire will be moved by lifting the column so the pressure will be on the screws attaching the column to a rather heavy base.It is obvious how the various column sections are attached but I found that two of the holes on one section were misaligned and the screws which were equally soft had to be forced somewhat.No instructions are given for the attachment of the fire head to the column. The top piece of the column has a metal cylinder insert which can be pulled out and which is also adjusted to give varying heights. The large plastic screw at the back of the fire head can then be inserted over the column to its maximum depth and tightened.Why oh why couldn't we be told this and why oh why can't we have better quality screws which would cost no more than 1p or 2p.However overall this is an excellent buy and certainly to be recommended..

Once set up these heaters and a winter essential for the garden! They warm up very quickly and have 3 different settings to choose from. They are very sturdy and slick looking. They look more expensive than they are- great value for money.You can easily move them to where you want they are not too heavy.More support on the instructions to set them up would be good but it’s not too hard

Firstly there is no brand name but the model is HCH-2000 DI and is exactly as depicted in Amazon description.They were easy to assemble but one locating screw on each section of both heaters stripped so be careful not to over tighten. Put the cable clamps on each section as you assemble. The bottom pole with the four hole locating plate could have been made with stronger steel and the whole heater would have been a little sturdier but it feelssturdy enough not to worry about gentle winds. The cable is very short and only just reaches the floor so an extension cable is going to be required unless its very close to an outdoor plug.Heating is very good. I noted a few complaints as to its heating capacity but i am not sure what people expect.you are trying to heat outdoors and they are 2000 watt which is the maximum you should use in most domesticoutlets. Anything more powerful would need to be commercial. Do not try to use a a double or multiple extension socket to power both from one plug. It would not be wise to try and power 4000 watts on one ring main. They were one of the cheapest on Amazon and the dearer ones did not look any different. So good value and work well.

Item arrived super speedy delivery, at this time of the year that was very welcome!The base is very sturdy. I left one of the poles of, because to be honest it is too tall and the heat does not dissipate easily at a tall level.Assembly was mostly ok, apart from the diagrams were not so useful. but no so bad overall/Great value for money and does the job i need very well! To keep warm in the winter!

Me and my sister bought one each for my father for his birthday and they’ve come in so hands for our garden/hot tub area! They produce so much heat you won’t get cold and they are high up so safe out of the reach of little children too! Really good quality for the price.

Bought these heaters as the reviews were so good. They didn’t disappoint!! Great heaters, great heat, very sturdy yet easy enough to move around the garden. Really pleased with them & so glad I bought them. The added bonus was that they were delivered within 3 days of ordering! I live in Northern Ireland & it’s a nightmare trying to order things as it seems at least 90% of UK companies don’t deliver here any more. One very happy NI customer!! Thank you!

Good heaters for a large space that is difficult to heat, they heat the person not the space.

We purchased knowing that the heaters were overpriced due to demand for patio heaters over Easter. We did however expect a level of quality for the money. One was okay, the other looked like a second hand reject. The base unit was scratched and missing the screws. There were also sharp edges on the base which cut our hands. If it hadn’t been a distressed purchase for Easter we would have returned the order. A lot of money for a substandard product. Did the job okay and took the chill off
