Bath time fun
What a lovely little toy, my daughter is mermaid mad so I bought her this for her birthday. The mermaid requires 2 x aaa batteries, it can be a bit fiddly to get the batteries into the back and is quite easy to actually break the battery case, so be careful with this. I also bought the fish bowl to go with this and to be honest it is not great for allowing the mermaid to swim in it, I don't think it is big enough. The bath is much more suitable and fun to watch the mermaid swim along in. There is a little propeller that pushes the mermaid through the water and my little girl absolutely loves to see her swim... a nice alternative and friend to Ariel.

Good clean fun
These little mermaids swim well in water and delighted my granddaughter but sadly one mermaid's battery cover broke off and lost its waterproof seal....very disappointing ,also expensive for what it is.

This product is overpriced for what it is. The quality was very poor. On opening the battery compartment, it just broke and therefore was not longer water tight. I ended up sending it back.

Great bath toy
So many bath toys that you purchase aren't very good or don't work at all so I was pleased when we put this in the bath to find that the little mermaid swims around the bath like a fish in water. Will definately purchase more

When they worked they were brilliant fun which is why I gave two stars not ...
I got two of these for my girls, both stopped working after a couple of weeks. The back got flooded, knowing they were going to be in the water I made sure the backs were as secure as they could be, but this wasn't enough. The face rubbed off one of them as well. When they worked they were brilliant fun which is why I gave two stars not one, but really for a little toy they are too highly priced to fail so quickly.

Wasn't sure what it looked like in real life until received item
Brought this for my friends little girl. Wasn't sure what it looked like in real life until received item. Seems a little cheap looking for price but it's what she has asked for.

Brilliant little gift
She really does swim on her own I was very impressed and my daughter loves her in the swimming pool and the bath!!
