In the winter, I've grown accustomed to wearing a beanie to bed, both for warmth, and also to keep my hair from going everywhere. I have long hair which tends to break, and my ends are dry, so I've been experimenting with different protective styles and headwear, including bonnets, turbans, and scarves. I can't seem to keep hardly anything on my head but beanies, so when I found this beanie, lined in silk, I jumped at it.It's a little small for my head, which makes it somewhat uncomfortable. I think maybe I can stretch it out a bit. Jury's still out. But overall, I like it. And it is indeed warm, so if I could wear it outside, if I wanted to.Might be nice for someone with short or no hair, as the silk feels nice on skin, and the beanie is warm.

This silk lined beanie has a nice pattern and is very warm. Most important to me is the way it protected my hair. I have very fine thin hair that breaks easily. My hair has never looked so good after a cold winter wearing this hat outdoors.

I have bought five lined knit hats this holiday season 12/202022. They’re silk or satin lined because my hair is braided and I don’t want the braids messed up. I have already returned one donated one and I’m in the process of returning another. Perhaps I’m too demanding but I suffered a stroke in the spring and half my head is still over sensitive. Just the brush of my pillow on that side hurts so I can tolerate nothing rough or tight there this la Reiner hat is so soft and pliable that I sighed when it was placed on my head. I normally don’t like hats over my ears but I don’t mind with this one. The reviews are true and I will be buying another. To gift to my SIL who braids my hair. The hat is well made, the silk lining prevents my hair from static electricity, and it seems to keep my head warmer that other similar hats without this lining. I have the black with the black lining and I would consider getting this hat in other colors.

It is a bit elastic. I have a larger head and it fits okay.

All jokes aside, this beanie is amazing. They sent it tissue wrapped in a custom box with a thank you, so that was luxurious. Was drawn to it because of the silk lining and was not disappointed. High quality, nice and tight for those windy days but it’s not restrictive. Excellent work, guys! Thank you 🤙

Very well made. Winter toboggans cause hair damage on fine hair. The silk lining in this one helps prevent breakage. It is warm, good stretch, and well made.
