Brilliant value for money

Such a valuable asset to any tool kit. Dosnt hesitate to deliver consistent and reliable power. I have driven some large screwes in to a variety of timbers with no problems. For heavier work id go for the 18v or if money is no object. I wanted to own this kit with out paying stupid money. Definitely worth having. With aluminium upfront and rubber grips and pads the build quality is very good and feels very strong. Leds on the front illuminate very well you could work in the dark with this driver. Have just bought some impact driver bits as conventional ones dont last apparently. Also bought the bigger battery which lasts ages. This 10.8 dewalt is better than its competitors on paper and seems that way to use.

I already had one of these, bought as part of a pair of impact driver and drill/driver, with two batteries and charger.I have since bought another battery and thought that at the price an extra impact driver would be worth having. I have found the first one extremely useful and wanted to have a spare. It is anyway handy to have two of these with different bits, or to change over when the battery runs low.These impact drives make putting in screw, large or small, so simple and easy. They pretty much eliminate the bit coming out of the screw head and don't produce any significant torque reaction, but with smaller and shorter screws, care is needed not to over tighten them, but that is quite easy to judge.The main downside is the extra impact noise, but I don't find it too loud.

We manufacture timber garden products. We currently have eight of this model which are in almost constant use 8 hours a day 6 days a week on a production line. Some of the drivers are 4 years old and are still working fine. We've had very few issues. I chose this model some time ago as it's lightweight and compact but still has enough power to drive several thousand 50mm screws each day. I've dabbled with other brands, Ryobi, Stanley, Makita etc... but this Dewalt always come out on top. Don't think I will be changing brands anytime soon.

This is such a great tool to have in your tool box or bag. I've got the 18V top of the range impact driver and I don't even use it as I've got the 10V unit. It is so powerful it's crazy what it can do. The only issue I would have with this is the battery only 2AH however I've got a few batteries so it's not really an issue. Also the batteries do last long. GET ONE. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Had one for 10yrs. Gave it abuse over the yrs. Lightest driver you will find.

Great product extremely durable compact drill with a lot of power definitely prefer it to 18v a lot lighter

12v doesn't like 10.8v batteries
