Listen, my wife and I have been looking for me a pillow for years. She comes home with a different pillow for me every 2 months. All garbage, I was reading about this pillow on Google reviews and thought ok I will try it. I followed the instructions and it came with a little extra filler so I pushed it into the pillow, put in dryer on low heat for 10 minutes. Honestly was expecting to wake up middle of the night as always with pillow folded around my head like every other pillow my wife has bought. Nope, this thing is wonderful, my head settles into the pillow just a little, I am a side sleeper so you know what it's like to have your face covered by a crap pillow. Now, let me preface something, this dude comes with instructions and I follow them to the T. Wife fluffs the pillow when making bed, and it goes in the dryer 10 minutes, low heat once a week. I LOVE THIS PILLOW, and the price is cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else. Buy it, follow instructions, side sleeper you will love it

These pillows have not disappointed me. They are quite soft but don't envelope your head. They are soft AND offer head support. I can even sleep with earrings and they don't hurt by morning. In the past, I have used pillows that make my ears hurt during the night to the point of disturbing my sleep. These allow sleep with no ear pain. Fully recommend these!

We recently spent a few days at my sister-in-laws house. I loved the pillows she had on the bed. I order one for myself on the trip home. When my grandson and I opened the package, we immediately detected a chocolate “scratch & sniff” like scent. I figured it was the packaging, so put a pillow case on the pillow and placed it on a bed with freshly washed bedding. When I went to sleep that night, I again detected the chocolate scent. Several days later, the scent continues to be detectable. The smell is not awful but it does make me a bit concerned that there could be something unhealthy in the pillow. My sister-in-law’s pillows did not have a detectable odor. Besides the chocolate scent mystery, I am very happy with the pillow. I have not, as yet, added any of the extra filling that was included. The pillow is not referred to as the chocolate pillow.

Our two new pillows (King size) are extremely comfortable! Now if I could just find a mattress as comfortable as our pillows, I would be pain-free and sleep like the dead!!! Also, the adjustability of these two pillows is really great!

Too soft even with extra fill.

These are the most comfortable pillows I have ever had. The are soft, but at the same time have a firmness to keep their shape. They are cooling as well, just as advertised. They come with extra fill for side-sleepers and I added it. It is the perfect pillow for me.

These pillows didn’t seem to bad at first like might even work for us but out of all the pillows we have tried, omg! The chemical smell coming off the pillows is just horrible. I just get laid into the pillow comfortably and the smell just takes over and then I can’t sleep and for the two nights I’ve been using it now we both have woken up with headaches. I literally have taken the pillows apart and put them in separate rooms and will have to try to wash the outer layer but you cannot wash the inner layer. I read some reviews that said there was a bad smell but this is like nothing else and it has been three days and it has not gotten any better. It says environmental friendly but the chemical smells are so strong I am not sure of that, as a smell of a chemical plant when we go into our bedroom.

The pillow is less than half as thick as the picture implies. There's very little filling inside and it doesn't expand hardly at all once opened so the pillow is relatively flat with little support and it's not firm at all. I have a similar hybrid pillow that I like so I'm going to keep this one and buy additional filling so that it's usable. Honestly though this pillow is absolutely not worth the price in my opinion.

I am VERY satisfied with this pillow. For several years, I’ve been using feather pillows because I enjoy being able to fluff them up when needed. Lately, my feather pillows have been bothering me. They become flat quickly and when I fluff them up they become so big that it kinks my neck. My husband has always complained about the pillows too, so we’ve been on a pillow hunt, to try and replace all of the ones we own in the house. ✅WHAT I LIKE: ▪️I’ve been using the pillow for just shy of one month. It is VERY comfortable and has kept its shape. I haven’t had to wake up to fluff it up in the middle of the night. ▪️This pillow came with an extra bag of stuffing. I ended up using all of it. I didn't think it was enough, but so far I am extremely happy with the comfort and firmness. ▪️I was VERY happy to see that the box the pillow came in had 3 tamper-proof seals. I ALWAYS look out for this when ordering personal-use items. The pillow was tightly wrapped and compressed within the box as well. ▪️At first, I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t order this pillow in a Queen size, but once I received the King, I realized what a blessing it was to have the bigger size. Regardless of your bed size, having a king-size pillow is so nice because you can also use it as a body pillow. Or if you’re like me, build a barricading wall to keep your partner on their side of the bed!😝 ▪️Since this pillow is going right into our faces, I did a full-on sniff test. Seems strange to do that right? But, you’d be shocked to know that another pillow we ordered smelled really bad...I’m talking musty wet dog kinda smell with a hint of foam and rotting meat. 🤢 This pillow smells NORMAL, clean, and like foam. ▪️The foam is also uniform and clean looking. It doesn't look like it was swept off of a factory floor like the other pillow we ordered which had off-white foam, with bits of random blue and orange foam, and sometimes what looked like melted/flat dirty foam. You’ll be so happy to know this is CLEAN (as seen in my video). ❌WHAT I DON’T LIKE: ▪️There isn’t much to complain about with this pillow, other than I now have to buy king-sized pillowcases. Lol! I was lucky to have one on hand - no idea why I had it, so I guess this pillow was meant to be! 🦋OVERALL: I’m so happy to have the king-sized pillow for my queen bed! When you have two king pillows, it eliminates the gap you would get between 2 queen pillows. It also looks better! My future orders for new pillows will be sizing up to a king. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect pillow with medium firmness, this is the pillow for you. This pillow springs back to its shape. No longer do I wake up with a kinked neck! That’s a HUGE plus for me!

At-a-glance (full review below): PROS: - High quality material throughout, feels durable - Extra stuffing to allow for customization of firmness - Mostly comfortable CONS: - Adjusting the stuffing can get messy - Can puff-up quite round when stuffed, making it less comfortable —— Full Review —— Out of the box, I was quite happy with the presentation of the pillow. It came rolled-up in side its box, but there were clear instructions for unpacking it and how to ensure an even distribution of the filling. The extra filling is included in another zippered bag inside the box, again with instructions on adjusting the pillow’s filling to your preference and suggestions depending on how you sleep. Overall, it’s clear that thought was put into the packaging and it gives a premium feel to this pillow. The pillow itself feels to be made of high-quality material throughout. I find both the inner and outer cases to be quite soft and comfortable. I put the pillow inside another case so not sure how the external case would hold up in-use every day, but inside a pillow case it’s been fine so far. The zippers on the end for opening the cases are small and tuck away well, so they’re not noticeable when using the pillow. In terms of the filling, it’s a mix of memory foam cubes and some other fibrous material (not sure if it’s something natural like cotton or something synthetic), and I find it to be a fairly good balance of providing support while being soft. Since I tend to be a side sleeper, I added the extra fill as suggested in the instructions. This was quite easy to do, but since there is fibrous material with the memory foam, it was a little messy and I had to scoop up some of the fibers that floated away. Removing filling is just about as easy which is good. In both cases, after adjusting the filling I followed their unboxing instructions to even-out/fluff the filling. I personally find that the adjustable aspect of this pillow is nice, but I either haven’t quite found the right level of filling for me or this pillow isn’t quite suited for me. I can be quite picky for what works for me (and my neck), and so far this pillow comes close to working for me, but not quite. I find that when it’s completely stuffed with all the included filling, it becomes quite round in shape, which puts my head and neck and an awkward angle. At the “default” filling, it was a bit too low for me so side-sleeping was not ideal. I’m hesitant to say that this is a problem with the product since I know that I can be fussy in this area, but it’s still important to know. With that said, I do find it to be comfortable in general (eg. when I’ve used it for sitting in bed, or for relaxing on my back), so depending on how you sleep this pillow may be perfect for you! Overall, I really like the “adjustable” concept of this pillow, and it’s quite high-quality. I found it to be a bit less comfortable for me personally than I was hoping, but since this can be highly subjective it may be great for you. I feel that the price ($70 CAD at time of review) is very fair for what you’re getting, so if you think this pillow may work for your sleep style, I’d recommend giving it a try!

Pros: - Luxurious , silky soft pillow case and high quality memory foam - Cool to the touch - Shredded memory foam is super soft, isn't stiff - Comes with a bag of memory foam to customize your pillow to your likeness - So comfortable to sleep with. I have some really deep sleeps with this pillow I have a California Design den comforter and absolutely love it so I knew I had to try out this pillow. This pillow is incredible! It's the most luxurious and comfortable memory foam pillow that I have come across, its seriously like sleeping with a cotton cloud. It feels like a fluffy feather pillow only the feathers are made from shredded memory foam. I normally do not like memory foam pillows because I find them too stiff but because of the memory foam being shredded I can't get enough of this pillow. I am a side sleeper, I did not remove any filling I like how fluffy it is. I love the weight of this pillow, the silky softness of the cover and how cold this pillow stays. I can always find a cold spot. I think this pillow is absolutely amazing and I love sleeping with it.

Well Made. Just Not For Me. FIRST IMPRESSION/CONTENTS: The Luxury 3-Chamber King Bed Pillow from California Design Den arrived in a giftable box along with extra stuffing. Out of the box it is obvious this is a quality pillow. All stitching/seams are done well, zippers are discrete etc. Overall, a well-produced product. What I didn't enjoy about this pillow is that I found it to be too "mushy" (head sank into the pillow and the sides rose up to push against face - little support). To help mitigate that I added the extra stuffing that was included... and put the pillow in a dryer to "fluff" it up/allow stuffing to be evenly distributed. After doing so, I found the pillow too firm for my head/neck after using it for a few hours. Instead of giving up on it, I decided to use it as a body pillow (since this thing HUGE). Sadly, I can't even use it for that as it retains far too much heat for me to get even close to comfortable - perhaps I'm like the old Princess and The Pea tale?!? At any rate, because of its firmness, I now use it to help prop me up while I watch TV from bed (and toss it to the side when I sleep) so all is not lost. To be clear, this is a well-made pillow; it just doesn't meet my sleeping needs. I hope you found this review helpful to your decision making.
