Fittonia 'Joly Josan' is also known as a nerve or mosaic plant. Other names include the painted net-leaf. Just look closely at the leaves and you will appreciate the amazing red veining on a dark green background. It can be grown as a trailing house plant or as a creeper-type, low, spreading plant and it lends itself very well to growing in a terrarium or bottle garden with high humidity.Dislikes direct or dappled sunlight.Keep plant constantly moist and humid.Mist frequently or place on a tray containing damp pebbles or gravel.This is a compact plant which is only likely to grow to about 15cm tall, with a spread of around 30cm.Feed occasionally during the main growing season.This plant is growing in an 8cm pot.
