MUY BUENA HERRAMIENTA

Great value - I needed a second drill after my Ryobi finally burnt out after 9 years. This one is perfect for the light jobs I intend to use it on. Plenty of torque to screw three inch deck screwas, and the variable speed makes it easy for the small stuff. It is nice and small so holding it does not tire you out. The battery is small too, but more than enough for small projects.

Estoy muy satisfecho con este taladro. Me gusta mucho su diseño y su desempeño. Es un taladro de gama media pero para lo que lo ocupo esta sobrado. Me dedico a la carpintería y este taladro complementa otro kit de taladro y atornillador Porter Cable de 20v que tengo. Este kit es con carbones y el Skil de 12v no se queda corto, acabo de comprobar que esta generación sin carbones es mas eficiente, también la carga de la batería es mas duradera. Estoy pensando seriamente remplazar todas mis herramientas a baterías por esta marca.

I know the Skil brand well. But I purchase more expensive PRO grade tools for use strictly in commercial settings. I needed a drill for house light projects that I wouldn’t mind anybody using or tossing in the car. This is a really nice drill kit with solid nifty features. It makes an affordable good entry for apprentices in the construction trades and for non-pro DIYers. Some stand out features are it includes everything needed to start working: drill, charger, battery, belt clip, drill bit, and a cell phone charger built into the battery. It’s a one-hour charger that will quick charge enough battery power to drive 100 more nails according to Skil. The drill is small, lightweight, and balanced with the battery attached. I’d say buy a good drill bit set for it. It has a bit holder on the outside above the battery. A very bright LED light. Overall, I felt good using it and it’s not intimidating to women or the rest of the family. It performed so well that the real head of household claimed it as hers for the house. Hmm I don’t think buying this drill worked quite the way I planned. I might be banned from using HER drill. Oh the irony of it all. She certainly didn’t tell me she wanted her own tools but alright. This is a good buy for $60. One exception is a 2nd battery costs about $25 because of that built-in phone charger and you’ll need a tool bag.
