These little pencils are so great, I had to buy the 3 pack. I use the orange one in my masonry job, loaded with red or 4H leads to mark stones to cut. All metal construction, simple mechanism, easy to spot if dropped. Perfect pocket size, and cheap enough to lose with no worries. Great for construction, woodworking, sketching or writing on the go.

It is the perfect size to ride in your pants pocket. The included sharpener has you set with a pencil that you can use all day. I thought I lost mine and decided that I would order a replacement if it did not turn up by sunset.

I pair one (I got the three-pack) with a Field Notes journal and together they fit well in my pocket. I had a weird thing for pens and pencils…maybe a strange thing to collect, but I do. They’re lead holders, so the 2mm lead is difficult to break. But easy to sharpen since they have lead pointers in the cap. On the downside, the clips are pretty flimsy. If you’re looking for a pocket friendly clutch pencil but the Kaweco Sketch-Up is just too beefy, consider these.
