Is the gelatin in this product plant or animal based?

My informed guess is that it is animal-based. There is no specific information on the side of the bottle to indicate the source of the gelatin. However, given the specificity of the description of what is NOT in the softgels ("Non-GMO, No Artificial Color, No Artificial Flavor, No Preservatives, No Sugar, No Starch, No Milk, No Lactose, No Gluten, No Wheat, No Yeast, No Fish. Sodium Free."), and the fact that it does not indicate "No Animal Products," I conclude that the gelatin is from animals. I went to the Nature's Bounty website and found similar information about their fish oil. A web search turned up someone who called NB and was told that their gelatin source was bovine. I have not personally called Nature's Bounty to confirm.
