Skip HopExplore and More Roll Around Toy, Hedgehog

This is a big hit with our granddaughter. It has a lovely rattle and has a wobbly roll due to the heavier base. She also loved chewing on the yellow bar around his front. The big holes makes it easy to hold and manoevre.

Our 3 month old is just starting reaching out and grabbing toys and putting them in his mouth. This is easy for him to hold and keeps him entertained.

This is the 3rd time I have bought this item. All have been gifts either for newborns, christenings or Christmas. I’ve always found Skiphop products to be well made, brightly coloured and this in particular is suitably interesting to engage young babies. Very positive feedback from the parents, and I can fully recommend!

I bought this for our baby when she was about five months old. She’s now nine months old and has never really shown any interest in it at all. The “spikes” are meant to be good for teething but this is pretty much the only toy that she has never wanted to put in her mouth. She doesn’t explore the beads on the front and she doesn’t even seem to particularly enjoy holding it and manipulating it in her hands. The hard plastic bar on the front makes an almighty crash when she throws it on the floor in an outburst of frustration!Overall it’s been of absolutely no use to us. It seems to be well made, but I wouldn’t recommend it.Edit: baby number two loves this hedgehog and will quite happily sit and fiddle with the beads in the bouncer for a few minutes. He’s had it since birth and is now at nine months becoming less interested in it

I bought this for my 3.5 month old. He loved it straight away, found it engaging and really helped his grabbing skills come on, I think because of different holes it means they can pretty much get a good hold anywhere. The only downside is the hedgehog head is quite heavy so biffs himself in the face sometimes, but he doesn’t seem to mind. I like it as it’s gender neutral, so many toys are unnecessarily gendered.

This is ok I have to say this isn’t my baby’s favorite toy nor is it mine. I was quite surprised how hard it is so I find myself always quite wary of leaving my baby for any long period of time with it, especially when he’s throwing toys and sometimes smacking himself in the face. This is not a nice toy to have smacked in your face- speaking from experience!

Lovely little toy. Multicoloured, easy to hold, noisy so the baby is entertained!

Gift for a friends son, he absolutely loved it! Easy to grab and the material was soft for him to use as a teether too.

My baby loves this toy. At 3 months old, it is the number one toy that he likes to smile at. Loves staring at the little face, and the rattle is very responsive to a variety of angles being shaken.

Easy for infants to grab. Entertaining and fun colors. It also rattles without fear of choking

The bottom red part is malleable so baby can get a good grip on the little fox to shake it or use it as a teether.

The bottom half is silicone or similar and is not sharp where the holes are. It is soft and chewable. Just keep it away from older siblings who throw toys because the top half is hard plastic and the ears are a little pointy. I think it should have more beads, but it's very nice anyway.
