Christmas Concepts® Large Green Weather Proof Box - Outdoor Plug Box - 42cm x 22cm x 10cm

Read one or two slightly negative reviews before I purchased, but I thought this product was very good. OK, it may not look the best quality when first unpacked but it fits a 6-way lead with 6 transformers (and controllers) very comfortably. The lid clips back on very securely and it's waterproof. In my opinion (and I'm an electrician) it's ideal for the job. All in all, very pleased.

Hi I found this item very useful and it did the job brilliantly. After about three weeks of very bad weather at Christmas time the box was totally bone dry. The only problem I found was the clips around the lid are sometimes very hard and flimsy to clip down and kept falling off but at then end of the day it did work do its a small price to pay for something that does work.

Well made does the job its intended for. High price for what it is

The box does what it needs to do made of flexible but resilient plastic with a good seal around the opening edge. For the wire ways there is a sponge gasket that is almost too sticky but forms a good weather tight seal.There are several clasps to keep the lid firmly shut but I was disappointed that they are not very robust and one came off the first time I closed it. These could be better made. My other issue is that the top is recessed with a ridge around the edge if left uncovered this would fill with water and while it would not get in I think this is a design flaw as you don't really want a pool of water on top of your wiring do you.

Solid and secure clips to keep weatherproof/waterproof. Had it out in storms and dry as a bone. The rubber seal was a bit sticky on arrival but it was obviously still working properly.

Product is very flimsy. Cutouts in the plastic appear to have been done, inexpertly, with a stanley kinife. There are no guides for the cables. Not a problem if using 12v lighting wire but useless for mains cables. As one reviewer said you need a number of hands to keep the cables in place a close the lid. The outside clamps are also very flimsy and easily disengage from their brackets. It is not properly waterproof. I keep mine in a plastic bin liner.

Great item

Ideal for all those extra lights at Christmas with a variety of plug types. Well made used this year given the really bad weather no leaks.

Dit product is zijn prijs niet waard in de staat waarin het geleverd werd, het is van slechte kwaliteit en ziet eruit alsof het al gebruikt werd niettegenstaande de verpakking intact was. (Een retour misschien of zeer lage kwaliteit?)De plastiek is binnenin al gekrast, daar heeft duidelijk al iets in gezeten, onderkant is ook gekrast en zanderig.Hetgeen als rubber moet doorgaan is eerder een vervormde kleverige vervormde materie wat lijkt op iets dat aan het vergaan is.Misschien kan het nog wel dienst doen voor wat het bedoeld is (twijfel of het waterdicht is), maar het is hoogstens een tiende van zijn prijs waard.Men kan beter uitkijken naar iets anders.

Grande place intérieure, bon système de fermeture.Utilisé pour mettre en place les décos de Noël, attention à ne pas installer lors d'une journée trop humide, l'humidité reste dans la boite et cela peut créer des court circuits ou faire sauter le compteur (j'en ai fait les frais).

Lieferung war sehr flott, allerdings passte die Außensteckdose für 6 Stecker von der Länge nicht rein. Also habe ich sie zurück geschickt.

Tengo un estanque con turtuga, esta caja para los enchufes, me va muy bien.
