NOT for a room you sleep in but good varied setting functionality
What I like:Works well with multiple on/off periods in a day (I have a large lamp with turns on 6-9AM and again 6-9PM)Easy to set up using the depressible black 15 min incrementsDoes NOT cover a neighbouring plug socketRed light when it is powering a deviceCool switch to just switch something on for a bit and not affect the timer set upWhat I don't like:Yes, it does make a click sound at times and it can be heard so I would'nt recommend this for a room you sleep inCould've been smaller in terms of height (i.e. other products have the plug socket and timer setting functionality in a square design which is probably sleeker although this does look good)

Excellent apart from one thing...
This product works very well. It's intuitive and easy to set up without having to read the instructions. However, I have knocked a star off because of the design - the dial sticks out a good centimetre from the plug holes, meaning that some wall-wart style adaptors will not fit. My Christmas lights only fit if I pull the plug out of the unit slightly, which is obviously not ideal. They could easily have solved this by extending the plug hole section so that it's flush with the dial. Apart from that, it's very good.

Timer switch useful for a variety of jobs.
Have only used one of the units to switch a mobile phone charger and some lights. Easy enough to set but need to be well illuminated to ensure the pegs are properly depressed as it is easy to leave them 'half down'. They lose a star because they are somewhat noisy, making a strange chattering noise which might disturb occupants of a bedroom. Doesn't worry me as I am deaf anyway - one of the few advantages ! Check carefully if you are switching a heater - an electrician would advise about the loading particularly if the heater is 3KW plus a turbo fan.

Minimal buzz
This is connected to a dehumidifier for intermittent working and does a good job. I can only hear a buzz if am cleaning around the worktop. It really is very quiet. I like the option to override the timer and then switch back when no longer needed.Easy to set times by depressing the studs. I was so pleased I bought others to switch lights on and off whilst out/away.

Fit for purpose.
I ordered these to use as a way of setting my slow cooker when I was not around, I bought two as it was better value and I have a spare now. They arrived quickly and I was very pleased but there were no instructions on how to operate them and having never used a timer before I couldn't figure it out. I emailed the company and they immediately sent the instructions by return email and I have used the timers a couple of times and find them fit for purpose.

Worked well
Used these to control Christmas tree lights, they worked perfectly, which is great, especially for the price I paid. However after using them for a few weeks we have noticed that they can get quite loud clicking as the day goes on, which is very frustrating while sat in the room with them. Without the noise complaint on my particular one, I would of given these a five star rating

These are very simple to set up and just work out-of-the-box.
These are very simple to set up and just work out-of-the-box.The timer worked on both and the over-ride worked as well.Cannot comment on the time keeping as I do not use them for protracted times ~ I simply take them out of a drawer, set them up, plug them in and forget them until I need to put them away again.I'm hoping the are a bit of a burglar deterrent ~ that's why I bought them :-)

Not very well made, not particularly reliable or accurate.
Average. One of these packed in after a short period of use. The other is still going. I've bought some decent digital ones now which are all working & are much better with more accuracy. Not very good value, cheap & nasty.
