We use these for sampling distilled beverages (gins, rums and vodkas) at food and drink festivals. They are used fairly regularly and washed equally regularly. They are holding up well, with no discolouration and few scratches. One of the key benefits is that most people give us them back so, despite being plastic, they have been genuinely environmentally friendly [we've probably lost about 5 of 300] We previously used single use compostable paper cups but we reckon keeping these in use and washing at the end of a show is probably a better option.

I can’t vouch for the sturdiness of the tube after they’ve rattled around against others for a while, but they seem robust so far. The lids are very secure, with none coming away; vital for me since I’m storing tiny beads -transferred from plastic bags - in them. The first set were such good quality I went on to order 3 more boxes.

Ordered these for a charity event, I used the test tubes to fill with millions sweets, they were smaller and thinner than I expected but worked well for me as all 100 got filled and sold, the top fitted tightly and snugly on the tube so no sweets escaped, I would re order this product and when filled did look nice and the children loved them as it was a new novelty

I have bought these to get a few seeds started for apple trees, they are the perfect size, and they have lids, the whole thing is plastic but looks as clear as glass, very robust, and great value for money, will last for years, easy to clean and store,

I’ve bought these a few times now (anyone would think I had a laboratory hidden in my shed) but actually I used these to store beads in. Little plastic tubes sold specifically for bead storage is around £12-£15 for 6, whereas for the same price I can buy 100 test tubes and I can stand them up on my table upside on their stopper when I’m making stuff. Not what they were intended for, but for me they’re ideal.

A beaders best friend when it comes to organising your bead collection. I store some in test tube trays but most in boxes in themes only known to me! I find them an absolute boon when deciding what to use for a project and can have all the beads I need close to hand with adequate quantities and they are perfect for seed beads- just don’t forget the sticky labels!
