The plate is cleverly designed, the wizard shoots a spell from his wand to delineate the starchy carbohydrate section while another shoots from his finger tip for the protein section. The Magic Circle is the for the meat sauces like bolognaise, while the box of tricks is the healthy portion of cheese. A child and their parent or guardian, will soon see a difference in their child's health and weight over time. This is not a rapid weight loss answer, children should not go on strict diets (of which this is not) unless under the care of their GP. However, this is an invaluable tool in aiding a 1lb - 2lb a week, weight loss and an education on how to balance a plate of food to give optimal nutrition without any adverse affects on health. Suitable for diabetics to use, nothing is off the menu but the Magic Plate automatically by design, counts the calories and makes sure that all the food groups are balanced correctly and in the right proportions. Simply cook what you love to eat and don't let the starch or protein slide over the lines.

Magical Plate
I wanted a plate to help with portion control. This design is wonderful and not just for children. It arrived very quickly, well packaged in immaculate condition. Very happy and would recommend for dieters and weight control.

Please with result so far
The 12 year old child that this plate was brought for was so thrilled with the plate and so far we have seen a slow steady weight loss. When we first removed the plate from the packaging I instantly thought it would have been better if this plate was made out of melamine or strong plastic being handled by young hands and accidents are bound to happen. However so far no slip of the hands as yet but only been a month getting he plate

Good Idea
My husband & I had bought the adult plates some years ago. We got them out again to help us get our weight under control. Our 5 yr old son saw them & wanted a plate like mummy & daddy. He doesn't have a weight problem, but we thought it would help him to grow up with a better understanding of portions - which is what this pate is designed to do,He loves his wizard plate!

at last i know what i should be eating!
finally an easy way to cut down without getting the scales out. brilliant idea, seems to work so far - i've eaten more veg in the last week than i can remember (which must be good)!ditch the scales and fiddly working out calories (a tough regime that lasts ooo 3 days?) and get a diet plate. i bought this one cos it's jolly :D
