I changed these boxes out with these other normal size actually smaller boxes they were close to the size of the 6x9s they seem small from the beginning but they were Kicker Speakers the same that I have in my front doors so I have four six by nines the back ones I kept turned down because the sound quality was terrible as soon as I replaced them with these boxes I have the rear speakers turned up louder they were so easy to install and now the quality of the sound is amazing the difference in these boxes and your standard 6x9 boxes are like night and day the money that I paid for them the quality the value is all exceptional I highly recommend these if I could give them more than five stars I would they completely change the sound of my entire high in mid-range and on my stereo system

These are made out of thick MDF I cant eye ball it and say if its 3/4 or 5/8 but the finish is amazing. It comes with excellent 14g speaker wire already installed and screw down cups for the inputs which isn't the standard push connection's that suck all the way around. Even before they are wired I can safely recommend these easily. Very well done product. Going in the work area of my NV2500 work van. Will post some pics as soon as they are in. Also, they took the time to solder the wires to the input cup so no chance they will ever pull lose, requiring you to pull them apart to fix. Can't get over the attention to detail. Whoever built these is amazing at this stuff.

Good bass for 6×9's!

Made good makes speakers sound good

These ported boxes are built with the wire terminals and the ports on the SAME side of each, so they look odd as a stereo pair. There are some gaudy embroidered logos on the tops and metal logos glued to the front which are disproportionately large. If the terminals were on the rear and the ports on opposite sides with no logos like the sealed cabinets these would be great.I peeled the logos off the front which left hot melt glue on the front but it looks much better than that awful logo. I also toned down the embroidered logo with a black sharpie.Their sound with the DS18s are great but they are distracting to look at.

This is the first 6x9 vented speaker bod I've tried. I've switched from sealed to vented and found that the sound quality is perfect for what I needed. Great thick black carpet with prewired high end terminal cups.Overall, just really well built and acoustically clear -- I will be a repeat buyer!

These boxes are really nice and sound way better than any 6x9 box I’ve had will be getting another set
