Chestnut Wood Crook Handle Walking Stick Cane with Bark

Very strong and ridged walking stick. Looks good with bark still on.Comes over height as stated, easy to cut down to suit your comfortable length.Much better and stronger than the metal 4 pole fit together type.

I bought this stick for a bit of support when needed. Its rather lovely if you are into sticks and wood - I am so on that note it pleased me. Please note the measurements as this is a longer stick. Although it does not weigh a lot (which is a bit relative I know), it feels perfectly strong enough to do what it needs to do, and just to add I am no lightweight just a solid human being!

Relatively light, traditional cane in natural wood. The bark gives a natural non-slip surface, and a nice, rustic look. It comes with a sturdy ferrule in good quality rubber. The cane is long enough, that I at 193cm needed to cut 2cm off to get it to the proper length.I'm giving this a layer of linseed oil varnish, to withstand wear and the scandinavian weather.

Had to replace my old sticks after leaving them in hospital! Very happy with the sticks (I bought 2) tip : use a fine bladed saw, like a hacksaw and keep it straight. Measure from top of hip for cutting to length.

Love it…stout, natural dark colour, I’m 5’ 10” and had to cut about 4” off the length..! thanks for the suggestion to measure this by holding upside down.. I’d well recommend.

I have a very poor sense of balance,having 2 sticks of identical size and shape,make it a lot easier to walk about without the fear of falling over.

Good value for the price, I liked the rustic bark finish. The down side the crook handle was rather rough but a little time spent with some sandpaper and and wax produce a good finish.
