I bought this to use when I slice runner beans and other vegetables by hand. I don’t use a chopping board to slice runner beans. I cut in my hand like my mum used to do. Using my thumb to stop the knife. But I am constantly cutting myself. But no more cut thumbs now I bought these. These protect my thumb from the sharp knife time and time again. These are also useful when using the glue gun. Highly recommend these

These ought to be great: the idea is sensible and they seem as if you could never be without them. But I was disappointed. Somehow they don’t fit the right fingers, or maybe I’m not using them properly ... My hands feel awkward with them on, especially as they don’t fit my fingers and thumb. I will persevere. They still seem a great idea.

Wow these are brilliant for people who sew. If you are using a steam iron and trying to hold down a seam or a confluence of seams etc these little darlings prevent burning your fingers. You can hold on until the very last minute.

A good quality product. I have large hands and the largest one fits my thumb snugly. The medium size fits my indexes finger, but the small one is too small, but I am happy with being able to wear just two protectors when ironing my patchwork pieces. Another reviewer said they were difficult to remove when your hands are hot. I find that they are easy to remove if you just roll back the edge, rather than trying to pull them off.

I bought these for knitting as when I push the needle through the stitch after a little while the pad of my finger becomes sore and I cannot continue.These finger guards are great. Although I can still feel the needle on my finger, the pain is much less and I would say I can manage for double the length of time that I can without them. Having the three different sizes is great as I use different fingers for different stitches.A really good buy at a reasonable price and I've already recommended them to a few friends who have the same issue!

It’s quite big for my fingers.

These are great for ironing things that require you to hold parts down whilst ironing. They have saved my fingers from getting scorched on the iron. Only reason they did not get 5 stars is that they are really fragile and one has a chunk missing now due to difficulty removing them when your fingers get a bit sweaty. On saying that I will buy another set as they do save your fingers.

I bought these to see if they would offer me some protection against a sharp needle used in an attachment gun, I found the material too weak for the purpose with the needle passing through the material quite easily. I imagine that they might offer some protection against heat but are surprisingly thinner than imagined.Still a good little accessory to have.
