Skirts of this type are widely available, with an elasticated waist, good flare, and generous length. This one has a wide elasticated webbing waistband, so you will need a long-line top to hide it, it's not that attractive. I am size 16 and found it fairly snug, but not tight.The fabric isn't thick, or heavy, you perhaps won't want to wear it for an evening out, but you could get away with it, if you have a long-line slip, probably costing twice the price of the skirt.Fine for casual wear. I got the charcoal grey, which is a decent mid to dark grey. It's not a very dark grey.Edit: I have since bought the purple as well, which is a mid purple shade, a true purple rather than aubergine or burgundy. This shade used to be described as “Imperial purple.”The skirt was the same quality as the grace good, perhaps slightly shorter than the grey. I wouldn’t wear it outside the home, but it’s fine for casual wear in the house.

A light, summer skirt. Quality as expected for the price. The waistband though, is very wide, tight elastic, which cuts into your middle, even if slim and wearing the correct size, so be prepared for a bulging silhouette and the need to disguise this. Personally, I have trimmed the waistband to 1 cm, which reduces the phenomenon, but still needs covering.

I am pregnant and thought this would he great to go over bump. Im normally a size 20 so I ordered the 24-26... yeah the sizing it awful and is more like a size 18. The band is super uncomfortable but ive managed to take it off and make it more comfortable. The material is slightly see through aswell but it is super stretchy and comfy around the house.

The skirt is exactly as described and what you would expect at this price point.It's ideal for work or lounging about at homeYes as others have said the material is thin, clingy and in light is see through so for modesty you can do what I do anyway and wear a slip (underskirt) or you could put thick tights or leggings under it.This is however a issue not exclusive to this maxi.For the money it's what I expected and for that reason I have no complaints I'll buy more in other colours to experiment with.

Was advised delivery would be on a specific date, which was the date i needed it, but it was never delivered. Received a message the following day saying it would be delivered between another three dates. When item arrived, it was of a poor quality, it was very thin material and you could see it. The sizing was too small.Wasn't expecting top quality due to the price paid, but it was poor.

I have bought many of these skirts but I find you have to be careful when ordering your size. Can work out smaller than the size mentioned.But a very comfortable fit again when you get the right size.

Loved the style and the price. I have bought two now. Practical skirt well made in the UK hoorah! Like to support our British products whenever possible.

I ordered black because I was worried it might be see-through; however, happy to say that it is not! The material is a little heavy, will be good in slightly breezier temperatures. I was able to wash and use the dryer on this skirt and it held up perfectly (no shrinking, no unravelling, and no discolouration). The skirt is very long! I wear it above my belly button to keep from dragging. But the waist is very elastic-y so it sits tightly wherever I have it which is great!

It is not the fault of the seller that the skirt is a little small. I haven't lost the weight that I thought. It will fit nicely when I loose a little more weight.

Hugs the body too much and can see all the dimpling in the thigh due to the very thin material
