KINGTOP Garden Hose Pipe Expandable Magic Hose Stretch Hosepipe with 9 Function Spray Gun (Black, 100)

I have had this for only a few weeks so this review is provisional. The hose is much more substantial than I expected and appears to be of good quality. It is quite a lot heavier than the previous expanding hose I had (which lasted just over a season). It isn't quite as easy to handle (I find it has more propensity to kink and tangle but it is still much easier than a reel hose and it feels reassuringly robust composed to my previous expanding hose. I would nevertheless treat any hose of this type with respect. I purchased the adapter so as to be able to connect to Hozelock sprayer/ tap adapters. This works perfectly fine (it took me a minute to work out you have to pull it apart into two pieces!) I haven't used the sprayer that came with it, already having the Hozelock. It is best to lay the hose out flat before turning the tap on - you can't be quite as cavalier as with my last one. My tip is that after use I drop the tap end into a bucket and then let the rest of the hose coil in. This keeps it kink and tangle free and it's easy to lay it out the next time, placing the sprayer where I'm going to use it and letting the hose out as I return to the tap.

... but I have! This hose is amazing! If you get in a tangle tidying away your normal hose, or if you find the weight of a long hose too much then this is for you!When there's no water in the hose it handles just like a rope so it's easy to coil and pack away. It's also really light. I now have a tidier garden as it's easy to put the hose away!When it fills with water it grows an amazing amount. I can now reach all the pots and beds in my reasonable sized garden. It does move and lengthen as it fills with water... perhaps even slithers! If you don't like snakes then you won't like this hose as it fills for the first couple of minutes as it's really rather serpentine. You do have to keep the gun end open once you've switched off the water so that it empties and returns to its smaller size but it's not a problem if you remember just before you finish your watering so you don't waste the extra bit of water.Apart from that, the quality of the fittings is good and I'm more than happy with my purchase.

Ok so I have only had this for a few days so I will update my review if anything changes.Firstly PROS: The hose is VERY light compared to a normal rubber hose. The spray gun is very good. The valve I worked out can be closed a little to stop the hose trying to pull you back when using it. Its great that it shrinks down to almost nothing . It doesn't bend and kink like a normal hose.CONS: The first one had a little leak after the first use BUT the supplier sent a replacement straight away and it arrived within 2 days. The supplier was very helpful. The hose expands brilliantly but then it starts to actually start to retract again and pulls you with it.I have found that closing the metal valve slightly stops this happening but the flow is slightly less by doing this. I am ok with it, my husband will moan! The outer material easily snags on anything so I am worried it will get ruined quickly.

Love it!I used to have a HoseLock Hose with auto real and found that very good but it had it's day thus deciding on this. No regrets!A few points on it....1. If you stand on the hose it will slow down the water considerably - I know this may sound obvious but it's just to demonstrate to those who have never had this type of hose, the flexibility of it.2. I chose the 100ft and glad I did. It's difficult to explain but if you pull the hose to get more length it only pulls so much of the hose. The weight (with water in it) and flexibility of the hose stops you from pulling all of it, especially round corners. So you need to pull the first bit of the hose to a certain point and pull (from the trigger) form there. TOP TIP - It seems that you need to stretch it to get 100ft therefore you would need to do the same for the 50ft hose.3. Connections are top notch!4. It won't kink.5. Sprayer is very good although 'soaker' setting is odd.6. Seems to be more pressure - on the 'Full' setting it goes a lot further than my HoseLock hose...7. I will need an adapter to fit my power washer...8. Would recommend.

Prima usavo un tubo flessibile tradizionale lungo circa 25 metri avvolto su un cilindro di un carrello a due ruote. Dovevo prima svolgerlo e dopo riavvolgero secondo necessità. Questo tubo estensibile mi ha molto semplificato il lavoro: a riposo ha una lunghezza di 10 metri ed è compatto, molto leggero ed occupa poco spazio (foto 1), quando si apre il rubinetto dell'acqua il tubo si estende automaticamente raggiungendo una lunghezza di circa 27 metri (foto 2 e 3). Questo permette di innaffiare una superficie di circa 2000 metri quadrati soltanto camminando con l'innaffiatore in mano. Finito il lavoro e chiuso il rubinetto dell'acqua il tubo automaticamente si riaccorcia e può esssere conservato come detto in uno spazio molto ridotto. Anche se è robusto deve essere maneggiato con cura evitando strattoni ed inceppamenti. Un altro vantaggio è quello di poterlo alimentare anche da un rubinetto interno facendo uscire il tubo da una finestra o da una porta. Ottimi gli accessori in ottone, si può anche lavare l'automobile con la pistola in dotazione che permette molte impostazioni del getto di acqua dallo spillo alla pioggia.

Ich habe für meine Nachbarn und für mich mittlerweile 3 Schläuche bestellt und alle sind in Gebrauch. Im Gegensatz zu den herkömmlichen dehnbaren Schläuchen mit minderwertigem innen liegenden Gummischlauch und billiger Stoffummantelung ist der KingTop absolut hochwertig. Der Stoff ist strapazierfähig und fasert nicht gleich bei geringster Beanspruchung. Durch den innen liegenden 3-lagigen Latex-Schlauch konnten auch noch keine Undichtigkeiten oder Aufblähungen im Schlauch festgestellt werden. 6 Bar Wasserdruck sind überhaupt kein Problem.Fazit: Der KingTop kann allen Gartenfreunden nur empfohlen werden - wir sind jedenfalls sehr zufrieden :-)

Edit : Suite à mon commentaire, le service après vente m'a contacté et m'a envoyé un nouveau tuyau.Je change mon évaluation et je mets donc 5 étoiles.Il fonctionne parfaitement et j'en suis ravi ! C'est le meilleur tuyau d'arrosage que j'ai pu utiliser. Niveau qualité, il n'y a pas photo.Je le conseille à mes amis et à ma famille.Service après vente extrêmement aimable et efficace. Merci encore.Ancien message : J'ai commandé cet article car il me paraissait de bien meilleure qualité que de nombreux autres tuyaux extensibles mais lors du déballage, je me suis aperçu qu'il était légèrement abîmé mais je ne me suis pas inquiété car ce n'est qu'un tuyau pour le jardin donc cela ne me posait pas de problème...Mais quelle déception lorsque je l'ai utilisé pour la première fois et que j'ai constaté qu'il fuyait à l'endroit ou le tuyau était abîmé...C'est une grosse déception car il avait l'air vraiment bien et costaud contrairement aux autres tuyaux que j'avais eu auparavant...Je pense que sans ce défaut de fabrication, j'aurais mis 5 étoiles sur 5 sinon car il est pratique et costaud au niveau des vis du robinet et sur le pistolet. (et il est très long)Dommage !!!J'ignore s'il est possible de me le faire échanger...

Una meraviglia! Niente a che vedere con le varianti meno costose che dopo qualche utilizzo (a volte anche subito) si forano e devi buttarle nella spazzatura. La qualità si paga un po’ di più, è vero, ma non si rimpiange mai. Io uso una sola semplice accortezza: NON lascio mai in pressione il tubo dopo averlo utilizzato, infatti chiudo il rubinetto a muro e lascio defluire tutta l’acqua prima di riporlo. Occupa uno spazio irrisorio ai piedi del rubinetto, ma quando è “in funzione” garantisce una robustezza inimitabile, oltre a una morbidezza che ne rende l’utilizzo un vero piacere. Ti segue ovunque senza problemi. Ne ho acquistato un secondo da regalare ai miei, perché constatassero di persona. Anche loro felicemente sorpresi
