Generic Replacement Heads fit Norelco Philips HQ8 Spectra, Sensotec, Precision

After installing these blades into my shaver, I immediately noticed that it sounded and behaved differently:* Sounded weaker, like the motor didn't have enough power to drive the blades at the same speed it used to.* Shaver couldn't cut my whiskers as well as before -- took 3x longer, and ultimately the shave wasn't as good, not as close, did more yanking than cutting, and regrowth came back 3x sooner.I'll be getting only Phillips-Norelco brand blades from now on, and I strongly recommend everyone else stay away from this after-market knock-off. I should have read the reviews--didn't even realize this was an off-brand knock off until I had trouble and came back here to investigate.UPDATE: I received genuine Phillips-Norelco replacement blades, and Man! what a difference! Clean, close shave, no pulling just cutting, motor sounds like it's not straining. I took the opportunity to examine them side by side (see attached photo).* Generic has 15 blades, evenly spaced (whereas P-N has 9 blades randomly spaced) -- hence Generic is heavier, with probably more drag against underside of blade-head* Generic has thicker "molding" (for lack of a better word) -- hence heavier* Generic had thin plastic film over the head surfaces, the kind you find on computer screens and products to protect then from getting scratched in manufacturing and shipping -- stupid for a product like this, and probably contributed to heavier weight, and drag against my face. I could have removed these, but didn't even notice them until I conducted this in-depth investigation!* Phillips-Norelco has cleaner/sharper holes and slots in the head surface.CONCLUSION: spend the extra $3-$4 and get genuine OEM shaver heads.

The blades (bottom row in the picture) worked fine but the outside ring didn't work (top row in the picture). He had to use the new blades and old parts that run over his face. With all new parts, they just pulled the hair out.

Easy close shave. The blades I bought before this had gaps between blades and pulled which hurt. [A different brand] This set is all filled in with blades and shaves nice..

The head fit my 10 year old shaver perfectly. It is good to be able to get parts versus throwing the shaver away. They cut the bread great as well

ORDERED FOR MY NORELCO BUT USE ONLY INSIDE PART WITH MY OLD FLOATING HEADS ? PLEASE ADVISE ?

Came from USA well within estimated timescale, but actual blades a little disappointing as they do not seem to be much improvement on the 5 year old blades they replaced.

These were less sharp than blades I had in my razor of 8 years old. Terrible that they are even selling these since the quality is so bad. When I shave it now feels like the hairs are being pulled directly from my face.Only plus point is that they are cheap - but will not be useable.

I AM KIND OF DISAPPOINTED, THE BLADES ARE NOT AS SHARP AS I EXPECTED. I ALMOST FEEL THAT MY OLD BLADES WERE PRESENTLY AS SHARP AS THE NEW REPLACEMENT.

Works like an epilator.... horrible.
