About the Author Alain Borer is a French poet and writer and teaches at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. In 2003 he received the Joseph Kessel prize for his novel 'Koba'. He is also the author of 'Icare & I don't' which won him the Apollinaire prize in 2008.
