LG's game changer brings them back into the fight for best flagship
I purchased this phone in time for Christmas, however received a slightly faulty model so requested a refund and had the money in my amazon account the next day a few hours after i sent the phone back. Still intended to purchase a working LG G5 so reordered and (since I was on my 30 day free amazon prime trial) it arrived the next day! The seller's customer service was excellent, no quarrels and helped me through the process as it was my first time refunding an order of this caliber. The new device works perfectly, the camera is outstanding (in love with the wide angled lens), the phone itself runs as fast and lag-free as any rival flagship of 2016, if not faster, thanks to its powerful snapdragon 820 processor. Due to ingenuity (it's modular!) and consistency, I would wish for no other phone at time of writing (apart from maybe the Google Pixel, but who can afford that?) plus cost around £100 less than the iphone 6s or galaxy s7, the G5's main competition. 9/10 highly recommend, probably best phone I've ever owned - missed out on the big 10 simply due to relative short battery life compared with the likes of samsung or sony, still gets you through the day mind you, also quickly extended by popping in a spare battery costing £30 from LG, effectively doubling your battery power to 5600mAh, ~2000mAh more than the S7's beast of a battery. To sum up, if you're reading this and still umming and ahing whether to get the G5 or the S7, Sony X, Huawei p9, iPhone 6s or other, just buy this and save £100+, you won't regret it (last thing! The LG G6 is to be unveiled in February 2017, so the price of the G5 will only decrease from then on) Thanks for reading, hope this helped those of you unsure what phone to get! :)

Poorly made,ain't no flagship,get a LG V10 instead of this rubbish----->Updated.
Right all I'm gona say is I own the G3 and the G4 and the G5 is poorly built compared to these phones which for long term use simply doesn't cut it.My G5 arrived in the afternoon around 6 and at first I was impressed as I unboxed it and set it up and mine mated up really well where the battery joins the body and at first I thought I had got a good one,boy was I wrong....By 11 that night the power button had become loose and tacky and the finger print scanner failed to work completely and this in only it's first night,really LG how can you make a phone this poorly made??? Anyways mine is now going back to Amazon for a full refund and if you do a search the power button being loose is a common problem and so once I get my refund I may go to the HTC m10 cause they know how to build a proper phone,I had the HTC m7 and m8 and m9 and they never let me down they was built like tanks.Sorry LG but for this money your phone should last longer than a night before it breaks,it ain't no flagship and so if you is reading this I'd say seriously don't bother cause for long term use this phone won't last....Edit,I have now got a LG V10 from clove uk and it's far superior to the G5 and the v10 is far better built and just as fast as the G5 and the battery life is just as good also so I'd say get yourself a V10 instead and yes you won't be officially supported by LG in the UK because the V10 is a import but clove would honour the warranty anyways.Updated2---,Since this review I had to send the LG V10 back as it became faulty and I then got myself a HTC 10 which I used for 5 months before getting myself another G5 from argos which has been working brilliantly and it seems LG have sorted the build quality issues out so I would recommend now the G5 and mine had the nougat update and it's running great also.It's a very good smartphone with the added bonus of the removable battery.

Amazing phone but.......
This is hands down the best phone ive ever had except one little annoyance (more on that later) im going to write this review the way my manager fives feedback like a turd sandwich so some good, some bad and finish with some good, so you can go away feeling happy, so it is a pretty large and colourful screen with gorilla glass so its quite tough and durable, call quality is excellent it runs marshmellow by far the beat androis os to date, it has 4gb of ram and 32gb of storage enough for anyone and any game you want to through at it the g5 also has the latest quadcore cpu trust me when i say this phone will distroy most home pcs in spec except the higher end models, some bad now the phone comes with no app draw so you have download a 3rd party one or you can download googles from thw app store, the screen is bright but USELESS is direct sun light leaving you running for shade, but by far the biggest bug bare is the battery life, shocking isnt the word, i woke up at 05:50 not touches my phone until now to write some reviews at 06:50 now 07:16 and im on 83% ill get to work in london at 08:45 and ill be around 65% so you need to carry your charger or a spare battery as this phone is modular, how-ever all is not lost lg have gone with the usb-c chatging option which allows 60% charge in just 30 mins and a full charge in 1hr uaing there charger which is included plus you get evernote for free.

It had hidden dodgy features
At first i thought it was a great product especially being second hand, it came as a surprise the quality looking barely used, but after a day of use a few features became clear to not be fully functional, such as the volume button was going on and off, the screen keeps bugging out and is sometimes unresponsive, the phone even turns off completely when it reaches 15%, and if I'm honest i cant blame the company for these issues as they would be hard to spot, but as a warning to others be careful of what you order, this is only from personal experience and may not affect all their products.
